“We have pleased our accomodation in general. Hotel has a beautiful design which suits it's name. Quite comfortable rooms, very helpful and polite staff. Thanks to receptionist who made our check in 10 July night shift and helped us about broken coffee machine. Hotel says they give travel card for public transport and provide free access to swimming pool in Olten. (We didn't use them no comment about it)
Negatives: Breakfast is not diverse enough. Coffee machines needs maintenance and cleaning.……

“We are a big family and were welcomed with open arms. Hotel Balsthal is a charming, modern hotel with a rustic feel to it.
We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely be back.
Staff is very welcoming to children and went above and beyond to accommodate our little ones.
It is surrounded by beautiful nature trails and old castles to visit.

"It is a bit far from the Basel train station but the tram number 8 can take you nearby, hotel host upgraded my room to a bigger size on top floor, while you cannot imagine it is a big hotel from outside, good bathroom with enough hot and water pressure, easy to reach most of the Basel old town attractions"
