“Small coastal town,. I would say, if you want to have a lot of shopping and choices on eateries, this isn't the place for you. There are a few shops and a few dining places that aren't open every day. The property is right on the water, exactly what we were looking for. Perfect place to watch fishing boats and the tides. Rooms vary a bit and there are some that do not have a water view. The Angelique is an end unit which is nice and I would assume keeps noises to a minimum (althought……

“We were only here for one night, so our experience was limited, however, the unit was clean, comfortable and well- stocked. The location is off the beaten path and on a dirt road, but was perfect for a quiet stay. We even had deer come through the yard. The only comment I would make is that there was a strong cleaner smell when we arrived. It did mean that the unit was clean, however, maybe use a little less as it was harsh on my family with asthma. Otherwise a great stay.”

“This is a spectacular property overlooking the tidal Benjamin River, seen through the huge windows in the livingroom as well as from a nice outdoor deck, patios and expansive lawn with Adirondack chairs. The beds were super comfy, kitchen had everything we needed, and it was very convenient to get to Deer Isle, Blue Hill and all the other nearby towns. Highly recommended!”

“Great little place for a stay in Bass Harbor. Nicole was so helpful with accurate directions, as I arrived after dark. Will definitely stay here again when I come back next year.”

“Right on the water! Perfect view of Boat races if you are in town for them. I was worried about being right on Main Street, but very little street noise in the town even during a big event. The deck is huge and lots of places to sit. The communal room had some nice snacks to help us keep our 6 year old happy. The town of Stonnington is well worth the visit and a perfect spot to relax. ONLY complaint is I'm not used to having to shuffle a car around due to parking rules. Parking on street……

“Adorable tiny home cabin! Perfect spot because you can get to so many things. Peepers and the fire crackling at night, along with hiking around Acadia National Park, made this a perfect experience. So glad to get away from reality for a couple days and just enjoy nature and good company.”
