“This small, family-run hotel is very good value in a relatively expensive neighborhood. Convenient location near downtown Kirkland and not a long drive to the highway entrance, less than a block to a full-size grocery store, etc. Comfortable room. Interior hallways. Elevator. Courteous staff. You should be aware that the reception and housekeeping is effectively "remote", and there is no daily room service, which I didn't mind; you just need to ask for coffee refills, etc. I prefer not to pay……

“Everyone was so nice and very accomodating to our requests. The food was delicious, although we felt the menu was limited in selections, many of which we did not know really what it was. The building and grounds are fabulous with lots of walking trals, unique history, and lots of showcasing of art. we loved the library!”

“A truly unique property made us feel as though we stumbled across a hidden gem. Staff were friendly and professional, regardless of front desk, bar, restaurant or housekeeping. Try it, you’ll like it.”

“You could not ask for a nicer quiet B&B and the hosts were amazing. You will be all by yourself as they only host one couple at a time. On Cottage Lake the facility is warm and friendly, and a little dated with the layout. It's private and breakfast is served at whatever time you want, and it's excellent! A very nice getaway that seems away from everything but only half hour-40 minutes or so from Seattle. ”
