This newly renovated condo, 2nd floor of a 2 story bdg, is designed for comfort and relaxation, the kitchen provides everything needed for a gourmet meal. This unit also has a washer and dryer in the unit. This newly renovated condo on the 2nd floor of a two story building, pleases and soothes in every way. This condo is designed for comfort and relaxation. The kitchen provides everything needed to prepare a gourmet meal for friends and family, or afternoon pupus. With extra living space on the large lanai, you can enjoy delicious meals or a superb Maui evening with wine or cocktails al fresco. We have a wonderful peekaboo ocean view! This unit also has adequate wifi speed for video conferencing and working from "home". The BBQ grill is just a short walk down the steps next to our observation deck, perched over the seawall. This is a fabulous spot for enjoying one of our amazing sunsets, or watching the turtles swim by. A low density property, Maui Sands glows with the ambiance and charm of Old Hawaii. We have 20 units in a traditional 2-story building, in a park-like setting. Our check in time is 5pm and check out is 11am. Please enjoy full use of #715 and the grounds of Maui Sands Seaside while you are here. The exception is the owners lock out. Please do not open any locked closets or cupboards. You will find beach towels , chairs and coolers, as well as a book trading library and games for you use as well. We recommend renting snorkel gear for best fit and hygiene. On the grounds of Maui Sands Seaside you will find a sundeck as well as lounge chairs across the oceanfront lawn of the property for sunbathing. There is also a BBQ located at the bottom of the ocean side stairs for guest and residents use. Please note this property does not have any shared pool access, but the proximity to the ocean makes it absolutely ideal! Our hale is your hale! With the exception of the owners lockouts, you have access to all areas of the condo. I am the owners Island Agent, and I am available for any needs you have while you are our guest. Please feel free to call, text or email me with any questions or concerns. We are in the heart of Honokowai, close to delicious take-out and dine-in restaurants, as well as shopping, grocery stores, and the award-winning Farmer's Market. We keep several guide books in the condo for your use as well. Although we recommend that you purchase a car rental to see the island, there is a bus service here on Maui. There are bus stops all along road, and one both just north and just south of the property of the main road, Lwr Honoapiilani Rd. \*We have a check in time of 5pm and a check out time of 11am, unless prior arrangements have been made. \*This unit does have AC that is more than adequate to cool the space, and is located in the living room. There are both ceiling fans and floor fans in the living room and bedroom. Please note that as Maui has some of the most expensive electric in the US, we keep it on a timer to mitigate costs. \*We take your safety and well-being seriously. We have a comprehensive cleaning and sanitizing program for this property. Our cleaning service and on-site staff are spending as much time as necessary to make sure that all areas of your rental are thoroughly cleaned before you check in. We ask you to plan ahead as we may not be able to allow early check ins and late check outs as often as we would like. Jun 8, 2018 #### Fair It is a nice condo, with a sliver of a view of the ocean from the lanai. If you like air conditioning, then this isn't the place for you. While the condo does have an air conditioner, it's on a timer, so the most you can have it running is 90 minutes before it shuts off. Fortunately, for us, once we got the windows opened up, it was cool enough at night. In the hotter months, the ocean breeze may not be enough to keep cool. It was nice, however, going to sleep to the sounds of the waves. The bedroom backs to the walkway, so anyone not being perfectly quiet as they walked by would wake us up. During low tide, we enjoyed walking along the beach and the rocks. The lawn chairs along the sea wall was a nice place to watch the sunset. We found a really good snorkel beach just a couple of stop lights south of us. The rather large damage deposit seems really out sized for a small one bedroom condo. The picture on the advertised of this Ocean Front Property is taken from the adjacent resort. The brown building in the shot is this listed resort. Not able to get down to the beach as it shows in the picture either. Water was always too high so this must be a very old picture I would gather. To walk wasn't a nice area. Nov 8, 2016 #### Quiet, accessible and accommodating We stayed at their place for about a week. The location was amazing, it was 10 seconds from the beach (5 if you're sprinting)! It was very private and quiet. Great place if you're looking to relax and get away from the busy hotels. That being said, it was very central as well. There were convenience stores, restaurants and bars just a hop, skip and a jump away. There was a famer's market not too far away where you can get fresh fruits and organic produce. Oct 2, 2016 #### It was awesome This condo is a very beautiful place to stay. Its about 20 feet to the private beach and amazing views. My wife and I slept with the windows open, we could hear the crashing waves, it was relaxing. The inside of the condo was immaculate. The furniture is comfortable, the washer and dryer were a huge plus and all of the stores around there were in walking distance even the grocery store. If you are looking for a quick bite there is a fish market across the street which was decent but i recommend Java Jazz which is walking distance and has great customer service. She was very informative, upfront, and quick to respond to all of our questions. She made us feel very comfortable in choosing this beautiful condo for our stay. I can not say how beautiful this condo is. It is private, close to snorkel rentals, a walk across the street to good eats, close to tourist attractions and many other beaches. The best part of the condo would have to be the private beach access. It beautiful in the morning as it is breathtaking upon the evening. We caught many sunsets while here on our short stay. Jul 11, 2015 #### Very nice condo at the ocean We enjoyed our stay at Maui Sands. The beautiful tropical setting was peaceful, with an ocean view from the lanai. There is a viewing platform right at the ocean front, great for watching the sunset, and steps which take you right into the water between the reefs (pack water shoes!). The condo is nicely appointed and comfortable. There are even beach chairs and boogie boards. The location is great for nearby access to the beachwalk in Ka'anapali. Heather, the property manager, is easy to work with in reserving the condo, and helpful with all kinds of information about the island from history to popular tourist attractions, dining options, places to shop.
