We walked to the area where you can put kayaks into the lake. There were geese, ducks, and squirrels which made our dog happy. The General Store in the town of Lake is a must! Kitchen and bathroom were well equipped, and the laundry was a nice bonus. We didn't get a chance to use the outdoor fire pit, but the fireplace worked well. Also, despite the early season poor weather, we were able to enjoy the river via the lovely view, and the included kayak's."

"The home was perfect for us. The dogs enjoyed the fenced yard and the home is incredible. What a great cabin in the woods. Deer, turkey and various wildlife. We loved it."

"Our family had a great stay at this retro get away for labor day weekend. There was more than enough room for all of us. We were all able to have our own room/space to sleep. The property manager was quick to respond with any questions we had and let us in as soon as we arrived. The house it self could use some updating but overall no complaints!
