“We had such an amazing time. The view was spectacular and it ended up being warm enough to swim! The price was perfect for a lakefront cottage on Memorial Day. The cottage is on the older side but from the deck overlooking the lake to the cleanliness of the interior, age was just a number. Thank you for a memorable weekend for our family!”

“May 25-28, 2026 We stayed a wonderful 4 days in the beautifully decorated and well appointed cottage. The grounds are beautiful, and we had everything we could possibly need. We loved the quiet, shady neighborhood, and the short half a block walk to the most beautiful beach around. We had the beach mostly to ourselves, and enjoyed a morning walk along the shore, swimming in the calm clear water, and gorgeous sunsets every evening. Rosemary and Mike are such lovely hosts, and made sure we knew……

“If you are looking for a place in South Haven, look no further, We have stayed at any VRBOs and this one is at top of list. The place is very clean, well appointed with so many little touches that make you feel welcomed and right at home. We loved the little touches…the welcome sign, the Victoria complete with a wide variety of albums, the fire pit and well stocked kitchen I could go on and on. WE will be back!”

“Was a perfect little cabin for us to relax. Not far from towns. Slept great on the bed! Wish the furniture was a little more comfy but wasn't terrible. View of lake is perfect ”

“Unit had not been cleaned when we arrived to check-in. It was late and the host did not respond for an hour. By that time, we had booked another room for the night. Host did not respond to request to return compensation.Unit is in a very run-down, possibly abandoned, road-side motel. The unit itself has very little space. You can find much better lodging close by for much cheaper pricing.”

Step through the doors and be amazed!This immaculate little retreat, nestled in the middle of Michigan is a must stay if in the area if you're a water person, fisherman, boater or seeking the prefect getaway. The Grandpas cottage with Grandmas touch with a modem touch. Fishing for early May was slow but the weather was cool and gloomy.
