“I was there one other time around September 2024. At that time, we had a few issues with our cabin. I spoke with the maintenance man who was the exact maintenance man that I spoke to this past weekend he told me the exact same story he told me two years ago about how the new owner was gonna start improving the place and making it a whole lot better for guest. I actually found it just about worse shape than it was two years ago. I don’t think the owner invest any money in this place some of the……

“Picturesque, quiet, on the bay. Tracy was a perfect host. Provided a wagon for hauling our stuff from the parking area to the lighthouse. Saw bald eagles & other birds and deer. A little smaller than expected, but comfortable. Could be tricky for some people to climb the steps to the bedroom upstairs.”

“This was all around bad nothing as was described. No heat when we arrived which was fixed. No tv was working the shower didn’t work so no showers for us to use , no toliet paper given either who wants to go get toilet paper on vacation. There’s no host to communicate with. The place was dirty all around live bugs all over inside just gross. People around us all had issues also. Overall not a good experience. Would like a partial refund not sure how to go about that.”

“It is a very unique place with a beautiful spot on Portage Lake. It reminds me a bit of the "resort" in Dirty Dancing. Very pet friendly, Dollhouse was extremely clean. Any staff we came into contact with was very nice. A bit confusing at first as the whole resort is owned by different people so there was no real "check in spot" I had to call Expedia because I didn't receive any check in directions sent to me. “The property was clean and well taken care of. The property is near downtoan and the pier so it is very easy to get around on foot. There are a lot of restaurants and bars in easy walking distance. The bathroom is very large an in good shape. We rented the main floor unit and had acess to the front porch which we used in the mornig for coffee and reading. Check in - check out was a breeze. The kitchen is not adequate for cooking anything. The refrigerator is a small 'dorm room' size and……

“Nice, quiet, clean little cabin. Close enough to bigger towns yet still out in the woods. Perfect cabin for a couple with a dog or two. Hopefully visiting again during a different season. Thank you!”
