“The hotel does not allow any early checkins and they would need to know 3 days in advance to attempt to accommodate. The elevators take way too long so if you uber or lyft make sure to start your journey 10 mins before so you dont loose your rideshare. The location is in a great place and you can walk to many places without a car. The hotel parking is expensive but may not be needed. The flooring in the halls could be cleaned or carpet can be replaced as they were stained and had an oder. The……

“It was a cute little room, there were these little bugs everywhere.. not sure what they were but they were all over the shower and bathroom counter, the walls by the bed and the dresser.. the AC unit worked but some of the buttons for temperature and such didn’t work so it was stuck at whatever it was on, along with being able to see mold in the vent and you could smell it when you turned the unit on, we also had to use the stairs multiple times to get to level 25 due to there only being 1……

“The bathroom fan was squealing/ vibrating loudly when turned on. Mattress pad was dirty, floor and under the bed was dirty.”

“There was no trash cans in our room. This was inconvenient since we were on vacation and had trash.”

“I knew my goal was to spend more time outdoors than in. Good location. Walking distance to Ilikai, Hilton, Ala Moana Mall, etc. Pool was a nice alternative to walking to crowded beach during day, and relaxing in the evenings. Jacuzzi was good and evenings always in use. Close your curtains at night to avoid lookey loos! Especially with light on. Can see everything from pool. LOL. $5 to use gym for duration of stay. Good equipment and AC was great! Water system to refill in gym. It got the job……

“I enjoyed my trip very well. Dishes but no area to clean them. Used 2 glasses in total. Great location with minimal window view. Close to everything and staff were pleasant. Coffee downstairs at the coffee and donut place was the best. Loved the stay*****”

“The place has four walls, a bathroom, a mattress, refrigerator, and a window a/c unit. That's about all I can say for it. "Spartan" would be a generous adjective. Dingy older building; musty smell in the "condo"; shower was TINY and leaked horribly when using the detachable shower head. Did not have warm water one of the mornings. If this had been called a "private room in hostel" and the price had been 50% what I paid, it would have been an acceptable value. ”

“Not only was I lied to about the type of property that I paid for “condo”. It was dirty when I got there. The building was falling apart and no one had answers. It was oh call this person call that person. I asked for my trip to be refunded and to no surprise I did not get a response. If you’re traveling I highly recommend you go straight to a chain place. ”

“We were extremely pleased with our stay in AC by Marriott Hotel Honolulu. The hotel is located in a very good location if you are going on a cruise. It was a 20 minutes walk to the pier 2 cruise terminal from hotel. The hotel was not in a congested area. It was a quiet hotel and we got a good nights sleep, The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioner got the room cool. The area around hotel and the hotel itself was very clean. The staff was so friendly and helpful. ”
