“The location was great, size was perfect, everything I could expect and more. The view was amazing. Bed slept well for my back issues. Had plenty of hot water when needed. Parking was at the front door so didn’t have to haul luggage very far. Neighbor was very friendly and informative about the area. Realtor answered all questions prior to arrival. I would definitely stay here again and have suggested this to others who may want to vacation in the Crossnore area.”

Great room and hot tub overlook babbling creek, bank of rhododendron and patio with grill and fire pit. There are lots of nearby hiking/biking trails, shops in Black Mountain and local grocery and taverns. We loved it!”

“nice property. nice little house. Needs instructions as to where to find portable heaters and where to place them. Needs a regular shower, existing old tub is dangerous to get in and out of. There are no grab rails, VERY dangerous. Everything else was excellent.”

We used the deck a lot as we are outdoor ladies and took advantage of the wonderful grill for dinner one night. We had fresh cut flowers from the garden and homemade cookies waiting for us when we arrived! It was so peaceful and the rest we all needed. I hope to book again to see the leaves in all the fall glory!”

“We enjoyed the place -- it is well set up for a mountain stay. Wood is indeed beautiful. Kitchen is great. Appreciated the various apps on the TV. Great location, very quiet except for the nearby construction. We would recommend you not go in cool -- or most definitely cold -- months. The place doesn't have central heat, which is fine, but the heaters it does have are simply not sufficient to keep the house warm. Not pleasant to come home to. My husband is not a cold blooded person, and even he……
