“We had so so much fun during our visit! The location is so beautiful, we were so fortunate to see the peak of fall colors and it was breathtaking. We saw the sunrise over the mountains right from our cabin and we had a clear view of the sky for nighttime sky gazing too, the stars are so much brighter! The actual drive to the house was super manageable, didn’t need 4WD so long as you don’t try to drive up the gravel driveway, which Michelle advises against anyway. “Lovely home with lots of cozy touches! Our favorite room was the very large screened porch with a dining table, comfortable wicker chair arrangements and two anti-gravity lounge chairs. From here we listened to the sounds of the creek and enjoyed amazing firefly shows every night. (We visited in July.) It was magical! The grounds are beautifully landscaped. We also loved the screened gazebo by the creek. Inside, the home is very comfortable and has everything you need or could want. The……

“Quaint chalet. Older property with nice updates. Super clean and host was easy to communicate with. Beds were very comfortable. New mattresses, bedding, and pillows. Firm mattresses. We only stayed one night on our way through town so we didn’t get to take advantage of any of the amenities. Quiet neighborhood. The view is gorgeous. Mt Mitchell is nearby. However, the part of the road that takes you there in 15 minutes was closed so we had to go 2 hours around the mountain to get to the……
