“After a long day at the hospital we had decided not to travel to in the rain and dark so had booked this Hotel , so glad we did met by a lovely friendly young lady who welcomed us to the hotel , got our key and opened the door to a lovely large room on inspection it was clean and spacious checked bed sheets clean and felt just like home , mattress protector on which is a bonus not all hotels have these, the bathroom was fabulous you could eat off the floor the shower was a good size , the only……

“This is a delightful cottage for 1 or 2 people. Sofas and bed are comfortable; shower room stylish with a great sized shower. And with lovely underfloor heating toes were toastie all weekend. I was able to entertain friends in a relaxed informal environment which was great.”

“This hotel is in an excellent position to the town. The staff were efficient and friendly and the breakfast was the best we've had in a hotel for a long time. Unfortunately the hotel is is need of an update. We had the first room (51) on the ground floor. This backed onto a courtyard outside the kitchen. It was noisy and there was a "hume" from some kind of machinery that kept kicking in. The heating was not on in the evening, despite it being only 2 degrees outside. For the sake of……

“We had a lovely stay. The facilities and staff are all brilliant. The pool and lake was a bit too cold for us in October but will be back in the summer. We had lots of little walks, family game time and enjoyed the boat in the lake. Our dog was in heaven swimming every day!”

“I am utterly disgusted that this place is even still open, arrived at 7:50pm and told we had to find food elsewhere as kitchen shuts at 8pm, then was told they were not aware we had a room booked and she would have to call owner to confirm! Said she would call us back while we found something to eat as his phone went to voicemail!!!!! We then get a call to say yes they have made a room up! I then asked if they were aware we had a full English breakfast the next morning… again no they didn’t!!……
