“We had a great stay at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Downtown Tampa. The location is extremely convenient—less than a 5-minute walk to the Benchmark Convention Center. We went to the Stevie Nicks concert and were so glad we chose this hotel. After a late, rainy night, being able to walk just a few steps and unwind was perfect. We didn’t make it to breakfast since we had to travel back home early and breakfast starts a bit later on weekdays, but it was great to have a Starbucks conveniently……

“The room they gave me from the Expedia offer was awful, my wife almost cried when we went in, 3rd floor no view from any angle other than utility structures and garage, the neighbor balcony was less than 6" away, though the room was clean. Bottom line, I decided to expend $85.00 more per night for an upgrade and that changed everything.
