“Our stay on Craig Creek was wonderful! The weather was incredibly windy so we couldn't do much on the creek and lost power due to the insane winds Saturday but it was so lovely to be outside and exploring the area right around the cabin. Mitch reported the outage for us and called us when the power was restored to ensure everything was ok. The porch bedroom was amazing as well! “A very peaceful and beautiful getaway. Very secluded property with a lovely view of the river. Ideal spot to unwind and enjoy nature. The house is well-stocked, very clean, and really cozy. The host is very thoughtful and even offered to drive me to various hiking spots. There is a very nice trail very close to the house if you don't feel like driving around a lot. I would plan to get groceries before arriving since the grocery store is a bit of a drive. Highly recommend!!”

“Loved the location, privacy, and quiet surroundings. Everything was great, and the water was just like any other Sulphur water. It has a smell, but it works! Plus, there was a full bottle of water in the water cooler when we arrived. We enjoyed sitting down by the water and watching the ducks float by. We communicated both with Evolve, and with the local contact, and everyone was helpful and quick to reply. Would not hesitate to stay again!”

“This was our third stay at the cabin, and our third season to experience there. We have visited in the Summer, Fall and Spring and each time has been fantastic! I can't begin to express how exceptional the hosts are when we come to stay. The little touches that make this the perfect vacation show how much they care about their guests. “Very nice property off the beaten path. Easy access to the lake with dock. We rented a boat at the nearby marina and docked right behind the house. Hosts was easy to communicate with and everything in the property is well maintained and clean. Definitely recommend.”

“Squirrel's Nest is an absolutely charming cottage in a quaint town. Great location & perfect for our needs. We only stayed a weekend, to attend the Sounds of the Mountains storytelling festival at nearby Camp Bethel. We hope to go back when we can stay longer, to see more of the town & surrounding area.”

“This was just what we needed. It was nice to unplug for a few days and just enjoy our family with no distractions. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We made s’mores on the fire and cooked steaks on the grill. There is a lot of things to do within a short distance.”

“The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed plus extras (firepit, kayak, canoe). Owner was very responsive and helpful. The creek behind the house was pristine and would make this a great spot in the summer. It's is at the end of a long drive and we were surprised by how many other houses were along the the way but the whole area was very quiet so it felt like we were the only ones there.”

“A group of retired couples stayed at River's Bend for New Year's weekend. We never left the place and had a fantastic time. Kitchen was well stocked, game room offered ping pong and pool, hiking right from property. The owner even took the trouble of getting 3 kayaks out of winter storage so that we could kayak on an unusually warm New Year's eve day! She was fantastic :)”

“We enjoyed our stay at this cabin in the woods! Plenty close to all Natural Bridge attractions and not far from Lexington either! My husband and I and two kids (6 and 3) loved this area and the scenery and fresh air I it here. Sun room and sound of the brook was very peaceful. Beds were very comfortable and black out shades were on every window in master bedroom, including the upper windows, making a very comfortable night’s sleep. Spacious bedrooms too. “This was a last minute booking. One snafu with Vacasa with them not being able to verify my ID via DL but with a quick phone call that was corrected. The home itself is nice and has plenty of space and amenities. The decibel reader is a little off-putting but I understand with VA laws being the way they are. Overall, it was a nice stay.”
