“We came "from the city" with our four sons for some R&R in the Red River Gorge and staying at Serenity Falls was the highlight of our trip. The seclusion and nature was a welcome retreat and our boys had a blast exploring the property! My 8, 10, and 16 year old's climbed around the canyon, played in the creek, and felt like they were in a movie set. “My family really enjoyed the cabin and solitude. Cabin was very clean and quiet. Check in was simple. Will definitely return again. One note however, once i booked, VRBO stated that the address was nada tunnel road and the owner stated address was lower hatcher creek road in stanton, which was 23 miles apart. VRBO has the incorrect address information. In any case, we enjoyed the cabin and would recommend it to others.”

“Overall, we enjoyed our stay in this cabin and feel the description was accurate. One detail they did not mention in the description was the shower/tub. It's cracking in a couple spots along the and didn't give a super clean vibe because of due to that. I always wonder what's coming out of the cracks... i.e. bacteria/etc. In all fairness, they didn't claim anything regarding the shower and did cover the bottom with a squishy non slip mat. But those always seem unsanitary to me. Positive notes:...

“Enjoyed our stay! Loved the hot tub and the cozy feel. Not a fan of the mats in the loft area. Also had an issue with the front door not latching and it was never resolved. Overall would recommend staying.”

“Little scary rolling up in the woods to see the door wide open. Fortunately after looking through the place I didn’t find anyone but some mosquitoes. Otherwise place was great. Really enjoyed the hot tub. The water seemed super clean. Enjoyed our stay and would probably stay again.”

Very clean and well stocked with all needed items. Secluded location but close enough to area hiking trails (20-30 minutes depending on which trails). Overall a great experience and would love to return in the future.”
