Our home serves as an idyllic green retreat, a mere 15-minute drive away from the bustling energy of Midtown Manhattan.
It feels like you are in an English brick cottage with a beautiful garden where we grow tomatoes, cucumbers, raspberries, eggplants, and a variety of delicious herbs to spice up your meals. You will also find a large family of lizards running around the garden on sunny days.
We have two floors with two bedrooms on the top floor and a master bathroom. The shower is designed for two people, offering the option to enjoy a steam with oils and mood lighting for a relaxing experience. Downstairs, you'll find the living room and dining room, with access to the backyard. The space has a loft-like feel, with an open and airy atmosphere and a large television. The kitchen features a modern style and easy access to the garden. Additionally, there is a powder room bathroom next to the kitchen, and a laundry room with a washer and dryer downstairs.
We also provide a driveway for parking, and there is ample parking available on the street. Down the street, you'll find access to City bikes. A small grocery store is just a 2-minute walk up the hill, along with some neighborhood restaurants and a liquor store. The neighborhood is generally quiet, with the pleasant sound of birds chirping.
The train station is located a mile away, providing access to the seven train (61 Woodside stop) on the purple line, which takes you directly to Grand Central station in Manhattan. The same station also offers access to the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR), connecting you to various stores and restaurants on Roosevelt Avenue. Additionally, you can take the bus to the train station, conveniently located across the street from our house. Our home is a great choice for guests who have a car and occasionally prefer to travel by train.
