“As English only speakers we really enjoyed our time at BaliAn even though most of the staff spoke only a small amount of English. They really looked after us, and with the use of Google Translate we managed to get things sorted out very quickly. This is a really lovely hotel, quiet and great to get away from the busy hustle bustle of Tokyo. Be aware that it is about 1km from the train station that takes you directly into Tokyo (Shibuya) but you can get a Uber or a bus there quite easily (or……

“There isn’t too much directly around the hotel, but if you walk for 10-15 minutes north-west there’s a great shopping area. Room was massive with a queen sized bed, and it was relatively clean, staff were kind and helpful.”
