"We initially felt unsafe here . This was probably not a fair assessment- it was based on how we felt that day . We did leave the hotel to stay somewhere else as I was feeling anxious. "A problem at check in which took 45mins to sort out as the hotel had not entered our names into the reservation. Lovely and quiet. Rooms very clean though a bit small. Buffet breakfast very good. Lovely friendky staff."

"We made a last minute booking so took the apartment, it being the only room left. This is a delightful property with beautiful gardens and quirky decor. Our apartment was spacious and comfortable. We didn’t need the cooking facilities as we were able to have some delicious lasagne for the evening meal, and a lovely breakfast on the terrace. The staff were friendly and helpful. Marcia was very considerate of my current mobility issues, there being a lot of steps to negotiate!"

There is a diverse array of animals to view in amongst beautiful scenery despite being close to Mossel Bay. Our accommodation went way beyond our expectations - a huge 3 bedroom lodge all to ourselves. We loved the 15+ minute self drive to get there! The food at Gondwana is nothing like you get on a typical safari - it’s more like a 5\* hotel experience with so much choice (take aways available!). In summary we had an excellent experience "
