“Buena experiencia ”

“Sehr schöne, weitläufige Anlage. Wir hatten ein neu renoviertes, großes Superior Doppelzimmer mit seitlichem Meerblick. Die Cocktails waren gut (der Alkohol war nicht mit Wasser gestreckt wie in zahlreichen anderen AI Hotels). Leider entspricht das Essensangebot nicht einem 4 Sterne Hotel. Das Essen war fad und lieblos angerichtet. Einige Gerichte mussten wir leider auf dem Teller zurück lassen, da diese ungenießbar waren. Im Aussenbereich gibt es sehr viele Liegen und Sitzmöglichkeiten. Hier……

“Hotel is clean and the facilities are of a high standard. Parking on-site is 7€ / night and is limited so if you are staying during a busy time you may have issues. We got a room upgrade as the hotel had not taken our booking from Hotels.com. This was a nice gesture. The beach is mostly gravel and stone / pebbles and is across a road and promenade from the hotel. The sea is actually about 400 to 500 meters from the hotel.Hotel has a nice outdoor swimming pool and indoor jacuzzi.”

“Das Navi führt einen über eine Buckelpiste zur Hintertür. Der Weg zum Haupttor ist nicht im Navi angelegt (Feldweg). Hinweisschild an der Hauptstraße leicht zu übersehen, abbremsen auf null um einzubiegen nötig! Kommunikation außer Spanisch schwierig. Kein Service, kaum Menschen/Ansprechpartner. Haus von außen toll, wunderschöne Anlage. 60 km bis Alhambra in unter einer Stunde gut zu schaffen ”

“Lovely, spacious and well appointed property. The gardens are very well kept and all our needs were catered for. The children loved the space, pool and play area. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedding was fresh, clean and tidy. It is secure and safe environment and we will use it again. The owners are really nice people and were available if we needed anything. Good value for the money paid. Thank you to our host. James”

“Lovely small cottage with a great view of Salobrena and also the Sierra Nevadas. Even with my limited Spainish we were made welcome by our host Virginia who then showed us around the town. Even though it was mid winter the weather was good, there were a number of restaurants still open. The accommodation is easily accessible to town then to the highways and we were able to go skiing one day and visit beaches later on. I can see this place being slightly less congested over the busy summer months……

“Good hotel with wonderful views from the balcony over the sea. Unfortunately nobody in the hotel spoke any English, the elevator was out of order and the breakfast in the morning for Euro 4.50 had a monetary value of less than 1 Euro. ”

“We had a vey pleasanr stay. The house has everything you need, is big and has a fantastic pool. It s not near touristic places but that makes the house very peacefully”

“De vakantiewoning was klein max 2 pers, nogal gedateerd IKEA meubilair, tv 20 jaar oud, balkon 1 m2, geen uitzicht, keuken minimaal, geen wifi, koelkast en wasmachine prima, airco uitstekend. Bed aan de kleine kant, slechts 1 groot 2 pers. kussen. Dorpje met 60 inwoners, zonder faciliteiten. Restaurants op 2/5 km. Niet geschikt voor mensen die zichzelf niet bezig kunnen houden. Strand op 40 m. Auo noodzakelijk, omgeving is adembenmend mooi, bergen en ruige natuur. Vreselijk aardige gastvrije……

“We had a lovely stay at this property in Calahonda. It was very clean, obviously quite recently renovated and had everything we needed. Centrally located and close to the beach. While parking was not provided, we had no difficulty in finding parking spots close by.”
