“Perfect location for our half way stop on NC 500 so glad we had sunshine as the roads to the cottage would be challenging in bad weather. We did try to drive down to the beach for sunset but missed the turning and ended up stuck behind a herd of cows. It was good to light a fire have a drink and warm up a pizza. The bed wasn't the most comfortable but we forgave it because everything else was so good ( and we do usually sleep on king size vspring which is difficult to match away from home) ”

“Great Breakfast”

“The guesthouse and the host, Brian, were great. Due to a booking error, I was able to book the accommodation even though they were closed. Brian still gave us a warm welcome and upgraded our room free of charge. He gave us tips for a good restaurant and even made a reservation for us! The breakfast was delicious and lovingly prepared. We would definitely recommend this hostel; it was simply fantastic!”
