“Great friendly welcome and service, small room with everything you need and with lake view, bathroom very tiny, sink almost unusable(airplane sink is bigger). Quiet, safe area, enough off street parking, nice lounge area and good breakfast. Restaurants for dinner close by. ”

“Although the room was quite small, it was beautifully decorated and had everything needed for a short stay. A continental style breakfast is served on a tray in your room. There was.more than enough provided ,- tea, coffee, toast, croissants,yoghurts, fruit, orange juice. Would recommend the Foinaven.”

“Parking was cash only but luckily had that on us but finding the parking was difficult due to construction. Then the small hike to the hostel from the temporary parking was a bit much with bags and over a fence. Service was nice, beds were not very comfortable ”

“Very nice high spec hotel. Rooms have everything you could need. Hotel has a drying room which is handy on a wet day. Great view of the bay. Staff very nice and helpful. Negatives: very limited food menu, nothing for vegans. Seems very overpriced compared to similar hotels in the highlands. ”

“What an unusual experience to stay in such a remote place. Our greatest pleasures were sitting on the outside bench watching life go by and all the remote walks we took. Plus…. the amazing piano! I played each morning to my heart’s content. Such a unique experience for a traveler to have music be part of their journey. Thank you Daisy. I’d love to meet you one day. Judith and Stephen”

“Great wee place , great view over harbour nice to sit out on a warm night and plenty of places to eat, ideal for a short stay”

“Poor communication when I inquired about laundry detergent. There was none provided -- detergent or response.”

“The cottage is on a hill side overlooking the harbour and the views from the small deck are beautiful at anytime.the drive up to the cottage is extremely steep and narrow and the turning point at the top is limited. Inside the cottage is spacious and light, but some areas need an update, especially the kitchen. The weather was good and we enjoyed our time there.”
