"It is a boutique hotel in a converted old Italian palazzo. The facilities are excellent but in the room there was not even a kettle to make coffee, there was a mini refrigerator with two cans of soda. However, the unforgivable thing is that the Wi-Fi connection did not work inside the room and they use an open network that is not secure. Maybe they are used to receiving local clients who do not need to use wifi"

"We had a wonderful stay at B&B Villamena! It is thoughtfully decorated down to each detail, has a beautiful patio with a refreshing swimming pool, and a generous and delicious breakfast. The location was perfect. Free parking across the street and an easy short walk to the main parts of Spello. Spello itself is a gorgeous and charming town! One of the best I have visited in all of Italy. The host had great recommendations for restaurants, wineries and excursions in Umbria. The room was marvelous with a comfortable bed, great shower and AC, and nice and quiet. Quite spacious as well. We loved our visit and hope to return again! "

"We were a group of 15, including 5 children (ages 6 to 10) and grandparents. The house is large…there was a 2 bedroom cottage too, which we did not use. All the bedrooms had very good, very new air conditioning which was great because it was hot during our stay. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all very comfortable and large, and all had their own separate kitchens/fridges. The pool was great, and very big. Both at the pool and by the outside dining area the owners had installed some anti-mosquito spray pipes which did a very good job . The location was excellent. This was our first time in Umbria. There was a supermarket 5 minutes away. The town of Spello was very beautiful and had lots of restaurants. Assisi was close. Likewise Spoleto. The owners put us in touch with some great chefs to cook dinner for us a few nights. They were terrific. Overall a great house and a great holiday. "
"Stefania’s apartment is perfectly located within a short walking distance to all the wonderful shops and restaurants. It is located on a charming, quite narrow street which is decorated with colorful, potted flowers and shrubs. Stefania communicated well with us as speakers of English and was helpful in recommending the best restaurants. Her two bedroom apartment was meticulously clean and had everything that we needed for a fabulous vacation."
"The road leading to the hotel is extremely narrow and dangerous it is filled with holes including a terrible one on there entry. The rooms have no ventilation and no windows other than the door. Marco at the front desk was very helpful. The cleaning staff needs training three days they did not remove a bag of trash. The restaurant is amazing the food was outstanding and excellent service. The pools and outdoor area is beautiful. "

"Nori mirrors the impressive, special home which she was kind enough to allow us to use for five wonderful days in Spello. On multi floors, very clean, and with a comfortable bed, shower, and washer/dryer, it seemed a perfect temporary residence. But then you add the many snacks and drinks which Nori thoughtfully places in the apartment, the wealth of information she provides, her almost instant availability, the kindness and knowledge of her translator, and the magic of Spello, and you have a perfect vacation stop. Nori and her translator were waiting for us on the corner of the apartment's street and after checking us in and giving us lots of valuable information, they joined us in our car and took us to the free parking lot outside the city's walls. There is nothing more for which we could have asked of her. Thank you, Nori."
