“The room I booked is a lake view room. The view of the room is very good and the room is big enough, BUT,,,,, The blanket on the bed may NOT have been changed for a long time. The very bad smell made me unable to sleep all night. I strongly suggest that the management can quickly check every room, don't let this problem affect the reputation of the Hamptom Inn.”

“The room was utilitarian but sparkling clean. Staff went above and beyond. Yes... it has a gorgeous view and is convenient to the village. I recommend for couples.”

“Beautiful facility, friendly & responsive staff, very nice food and wine on their patio. Pretty lakefront views with a large dock, fire pit and plenty of Adirondack chairs.”

“Both times I've stayed here the elevator floor was filthy, no one ever cleaned They offer a continental breakfast, but had practically no utensils. There were no knives and almost out of forks. Not to mention the over full garbage from the day before. Where did they expect people to put their used plates, napkins, wrappers, etc? For the price I paid, it's not worth it. It's a trashy hotel.”

“Rating: 2.5–3 stars This property sits in an absolutely beautiful location with stunning views of the lake and the hills to the west. The sunsets are truly incredible, and the overall atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. The front yard has a lot of charm and potential, though the grass was noticeably overgrown during my stay. The experience itself was unusual. I was greeted briefly by someone who handed me the key, but after that I didn’t see a single staff member, and there’s no real reception……
