“Really nice and helpful host. His recommendation list will be especially useful for finding good spots for food, particularly groceries. The lodge definitely requires a car, as it’s not within walking distance of beaches or walking areas. However, it’s only 10 to 15 minutes away from all the main attractions like Eagle Beach, Tres Trapi, and Arashi Beach.
Aruba is quite expensive, so the host’s guidance really helps avoid some common tourist traps early on.
It would’ve been great to have……

“Love it!!!!!! Amir is the sweetest and most professional guy ever! It is a nice little hotel & apt style residence...the pool is wonderful. It is very close to the supermarket, totally walkable. If you walk for about 15 mins-ish to the right side the hotel, there are lots of good restaurants; Italian, dutch, pizza, and etc! Highly recommended South Beach Residence!!!”

“This is a fairly new property, having just opened in January 2025 and they are adding more units. Before I even arrived in Aruba, I called the property office twice and each time I spoke with Andy who was super nice, helpful and comforting! I had some issues with the transportation company I had booked claiming they did not have a reservation for me but had collected my money through Expedia!
