"We enjoyed our 8 night stay at Barcelo. The food, accommodations, staff were great. The only issue was obtaining clean beach towels. They were often unavailable. "
"Every room is oceanfront. Ours was literal steps from the waves. Every staff member was helpful and courteous, and everyone was always smiling. The access to Divi Aruba is a huge plus, providing additional dining and recreation opportunities. The room itself was clean, promptly tended to, and was nicely appointed with working appliances (fridge, microwave, safe) and very adequate lighting (including selectable color RGB accent lighting!). The Tamarijn should be at the top of the list of all-inclusives in Aruba. "
"We had a beautiful room with a pool and ocean view. The hotel was immaculate and the staff was friendly and eager to help.
The only complaint would be that the tile around the pool was sometimes slippery. My brother in law fell and my friend had a near miss.
Other than that it was a great stay!"
"Absolutely beautiful beach!! Room near beach which was great because there were no public bathrooms. Buffet was not a true buffet you had to wait in line to order your main dish which usually took awhile… not enough entertainment at night and absolutely no entertainment around the pool or beach during the day. Very quiet hotel resort but if you are just looking for R&R this is the place. "
"Would definitely revisit!
The birds are a problem when it comes to eating outside. The pool is beautifully maintained which is why it surprises me that they do not pay as much attention to deck and lounge chairs. We had to wipe bird dropping off of every lounge chairs we sat in. "
"Room 2225 needsthe dishwasher replaced. The door doesn’t close properly and it beeps all night. We had to close the door to the bedroom because of this. The fan lights and ceiling fan will turn on randomly. At first I thought we were being haunted but I think it’s because the remote from the room above us would control our fan too.
The rooms were dated but they were clean. The staff in certain areas weren’t very attentive but I guess it’s island time. You couldn’t see the beach from our room but it’s right across the street from the resort. One of the best places to nap was above Coffee corner, there’s a balcony up there. The pools were adequate. The only complaint is there isn’t much to do on the resort after dinner.
We had the all inclusive package which was nice but the restaurants all seemed to have the same type of food. Even though some things were slightly different, the flavors were the same. They need an Asian restaurant. I actually think their portions are too big. They should probably lower the price and lessen the portions. There just too much wasted food. "
