“The house is perfectly located. You can walk to the beach where you find an incredible lagoon. The way down may be a little difficult in flip flops but is worth the effort. You can find everything you need in the house and the communication with the owner works well. If we needed help or had any questions he answered them and helped us. Overall we had a great time and will come back again.”

“Die Einrichtung ist sehr stilvoll und modern. Leider hatte unser Zimmer im Schlafzimmer kein richtiges Fenster - nur eines, was in einen dunklen Innenschacht geht. Das liegt daran, dass die Unterkunft in einer kleinen Gasse sehr nahe der Altstadt liegt. Für eine Nacht war es für uns jedoch kein Problem. Die Unterkunft war überwiegend sauber (ein paar fremde Haare im Bad) und die Minibar netterweise gefüllt, ebenso Kaffee-, Tee- und Kekse vorhanden. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war……

“Wat een heerlijk huis om te verblijven! Je merkt aan alles dat dit huisje met veel liefde en aandacht wordt verzorgd. Bij aankomst werden we hartelijk ontvangen door Michelangelo en Enza. Voor het ontbijt was al gezorgd en kregen we een fles eigengemaakte olijfolie om te gebruiken. De aangelegde tuin met het zwembad is prachtig; met wuivende palmen, fruitbomen en geurende rozen. Uit de kruidentuin konden we onder andere basilicum, salie, peterselie en bieslook gebruiken. Heerlijk! Iedere ochtend……

“Great place to stay in Sicily. Easy to get to the Valley of Temples and other archaeological sites. Very nice apartment on the beach with great sunset views. Great hosts and very helpful. Definitely want to come back and visit again.”

“Packed apartment for a family of 4 but it just fits with dining area, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and balcony. Very nice big swimming pool and just cross the street to go to the beach and walk in 30 minutes to the Scala dei Turchei. If you have a 1st floor apartment on the 'backside' of the accomodation be aware of the street noise and that you have to climb stairs to get in your apartment.”

“The villa is beautiful, lovely inside and out. Very spacious and it really has everything inside you could need. The pool area is very large and the pool is large and beautiful, our only issue was the lack of workable umbrella stands as there is no shade around the pool until about 4pm. We didnt find too much to do local to the villa, there is a nice restaurant (La Taberna) in rucalmuto but we drove to San Leone, which had an array of resturants and beautiful beaches and just 20 mins drive……

“Lovely house with a great pool. Air Conditioning inside was a must as very hot when we were there. Beds were comfy. Great location for visiting south west area of Sicily.”

“Fabio (Property Owner) answered all questions we had in a very timely manner. He is very personable and a pleasure to speak with. The villa pictures on line were a good representation, but even the villa is even more beautiful in person! Stunning views from each level of the villa and the pool was wonderful, clean and refreshing! All the bedrooms were spacious with plenty of storage space. The open concept of the kitchen, eating area and family room were very spacious and flowed very nicely……

“This is a difficult review as we did not stay in this property. The owner contacted us a day or two before our arrival and said that he had an issue with this property, but he had space that we could stay in at a B and B that he owned. We agreed to do so. The owner was apologetic for the change and very responsive to our questions. The B and B was very nice. Good location. Quiet. Well stocked kitchen and refrigerator. Comfortable bed and nice ensuite bathroom. If you like B and B's, this is……

“We stayed here off season, which means we mostly used the indoor living space. For our needs (family with young children) it was a bit on the small side, particularly the kitchen diner. Would probably be better suited to people mostly using the very nice outside patios for meals. A very short walk down to the beach,and a useful base to explore the south west coast.”

“Everything was perfect. Only mosquitos were pain and very bad wifi connection and not reception at all. But in fact this might be taken as positive fact 😉 Path to the sea direct from the garden was steep but short. Most of the time we were almost alone on this beautiful beach with great acces to the water. I regreted not to take my paddleboard with me. Great conditions for SUP. Kids were playing for hours in this shalow water and sand. Supermarkets, restaurants are very near - aprox 10-15min.……

“Wer die Einsamkeit sucht und trotzdem in kurzer Zeit am Sanstrand relaxen will, ist hier genau richtig. Die Zugangsstraße ist sehr steinig und steil und man hört in einiger Entfernung die Straße, aber das Haus ist in absoluter Einsamkeit ohne störende Nachbarn. Die Hunde konnten frei herumlaufen und der Pool und die große Schattenterrasse waren einfach wundervoll. Der Vermieter ist sehr höflich und hilfsbereit.”
