Sicily, well-known for its charming landscapes, its historical and artistic heritage, its culinary tradition, will welcome you with its unique colours, flavours and smells. In step with your wishes, Villa Lina is a peaceful spot in one of the most uncontaminated coast of Sicily.
Located in a quiet private residence called “Parco degli Aranci”, the house and its atmosphere will make your stay enchanting. Everything is organized to provide enjoyment, comfort and relax both for adults and children.
The external area, surrounded by flowers and Mediterranean plants, is furnished with loungers, a comfortable porch swing for three people, a big wooden table with four chairs, an efficient BBQ area, a bench, another table with chairs and sun umbrella. The veranda has also an external shower, very comfortable when you come back from the beach.
Villa Lina has two bright colourful bedrooms, one bathroom with shower, a spacious lounge/dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. The living room is provided with satellite TV, DVD player and radio; The house is also furnished with Internet with WI FI.
The great cosy convivial spaces of the house, the tranquillity of the place and the surrounding natural wonders will make your Sicilian experience unforgettable!

House at the beach
The house is absolutely beautiful. Everything about the house is true. However it was a little difficult for our relatives to find the house, when they came to visit us. And a longer walk to the beach than we expected. But staying there was gorgeous.

Seccagrande July 2023
Location and property were excellent, conveniently located close to a beach and walking distance to town. Our only minor complaint was the next door dog barking, not the owners fault. We weren't sure what kind of place it would be but were pleasantly surprised at both cafes (kokorito beside the beach) and nightlife on the strip. The place was fairly small but perfect for our family of 3 and the outdoor area was excellent for a morning relax. A great spot overall.

Perhaps better in high season
Went last week of sept and things mostly shut. Including the 1 shop. Beach uninviting grey pebbles. Villa tidy and comfortable enough but kitchen tiny with 2 gas rings a microwave and something else that doesn't reach the plug. No work surface. Outside four ring burner and open bbq. But food plates etc need to be taken round. So a bit of an operation. Hosts friendly. Ribera not bad for shopping but don't go to lidl.

Our first holiday in Sicily
The villa had everything we needed for what was primarily a beach holiday with a few days taken out for cultural trips: Syracuse, Erice etc. The property has comfortable beds and a lovely outdoor space on three sides and it all feels private and secure; the villa is in a gated development with an allocated parking space. The different outdoor spaces included two shady hammocks, interesting planting, brilliant outdoor kitchen and eating spaces that we used for all our meals. The additional outdoor shower was great after days on the beach. It is an easy drive to several unspoilt and undeveloped sandy beaches with safe bathing and pine trees. The local supermarket is within walking distance and fruit and vegetables were great from the nearby stall in the beach carpark. Thanks so much to our charming hosts for taking us out on their lovely boat on our first day to show us the local beaches from the sea - it was a perfect start to our fortnight!

This is a small home but so beautifully decorated and cared for. Daniela is lovely!
The house is in a safe gated community. Parking is safe for rental car. We were there at end of October and Seccagrande was a bit deserted, leaving nearest Supermarket in Ribera about 5 miles away. WiFi was excellent. The outdoor space is exactly as photos show. Really enjoyed relaxing outside. Area of Sicily is quiet , but very beautiful. Beaches looked lovely.

Quirky, relaxing villa
Well equipped property close to the sea. We found Seccagrande to be a very pleasant, low key seaside village with pebbly beach and inviting sea. The villa had everything we needed, plus plenty of outside eating and relaxing areas.

Ideal get away for couples or a couple with a young child young child.as garden area is totally secure. Near to wonderful beaches and stunning scenery. More than comfortable accommodation with plenty of outdoor space to sit in the shade and relax.

Lovely property and a warm welcome
We had a very enjoyable stay at Villa Lina and the owner Daniella could not have been more helpful and welcoming. The location is great for exploring the island and there are some beautiful quiet beaches a short drive away. The house is very well equipped, with everything you could possibly need and the outdoor area is just lovely. I would recommend Villa Lina for a nice relaxing holiday in lovely Sicily.

Lovely house with a beautiful outdoor area
The property is located in a quiet cul de sac which is 5 minutes walk to the sea, shop and bars. Near to action if you want it but far enough away if you want peace and quiet. The outdoor space is the wow of this property and as you will more than likely be spending most time outdoors that works well. Secca grande itself is not an amazing place although there is a small shop which sells most things you need. It is open every day including Sunday morning. There are some amazing beaches very near by.

Nice little bungalow with generous outside space
We stayed here off season, which means we mostly used the indoor living space. For our needs (family with young children) it was a bit on the small side, particularly the kitchen diner. Would probably be better suited to people mostly using the very nice outside patios for meals. A very short walk down to the beach,and a useful base to explore the south west coast.

Wir hatten sehr schöne Tage auf Sizilien. Das Haus ist sauber und das Grundstück ist auch sehr schön. Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett und hat sich immer um alles gekümmert.

ruhig gelegenes Ferienhäuschen als Ausgangspunkt viele Erkundungen im Süden u. Mitte Siziliens
Die Terrassen rund um das Haus sind ein Traum. Da es selbst Mitte Oktober noch über 27 Grad waren, war der Aufenthalt ausschließlich im Freien perfekt. Selbst abends hatte ich nie eine lange Hose oder eine Jacke drüber. Drin würde es m.E. für vier Personen eher eng werden. Daniela hat binnen Minuten auf unsere "Ankunfts-Nachricht" reagiert und hat uns mit einem Sträußchen Blumen auf dem Tisch und einer Schale mit frischem Obst überrascht. Seccagrande selbst war Mitte Oktober wie ausgestorben, außer einer wirklich guten Pizzeria hatte alles zu. Das hatten wir zugegebenermaßen nicht erwartet, aber war nicht schlimm, da die Außenküche alles für Selbstversorgung bot, was man sich wünscht. Wir haben Ausflüge nach Agrigent, Piazza Armeria in die Villa Romana (ein absolutes Muss) und an die Scala die Turchi unternommen. Als Strand können wir besonders Bova Marina empfehlen, großer Parkplatz, nettes Strandlokal und kilometerlanger schöner fast menschenleerer Sandstrand. Wir haben es sehr genossen, mille grazie per tutto Daniela

Magnifique terrasse!
Nous étions 4 adultes et nous avons vraiment apprécié la grande et magnifique terrasse. Par contre, nous aurions apprécié avoir un peu d’espace de rangement dans la deuxième chambre qui est petite, mais parfaite pour des enfants. Très belles plages à 10-30 minutes en voiture. Voiture nécessaire! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir, n’hésitez pas à réserver. Très bel accueil de Daniela, grazie mille!!

Ein wunderschöner Urlaub!!!
Sehr stillvoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus mit großer überdachter Fläche draußen. Sehr Kinderfreundlich eingerichtet. Es ist alles vorhanden, was im Urlaub notwendig sein könnte. Wir hatten keine Wünsche offen. Daniela hat uns sehr gut empfangen und war bei allen Fragen behilflich. Das Ferienhaus hat eine super Lage mit ein paar Gehminuten zum Strand. Pizzeria ist direkt um die Ecke. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind auch Fußläufig erreichbar. Unsere Kinder (5 und 2 Jahre alt) konnten sich in der Mittagszeit auf der Terrasse selber beschäftigen, ohne dass wir auf sie aufpassen müssten, was schon sehr viel Wert ist :) Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub. Wir haben sehr viel spaß gehabt und haben uns sehr gut erholt. Ich hoffe wir kommen bald wieder :)

Belle villa en bordure de mer
La villa Lina est très bien placée à Seccagrande, proche de Sciacca et d'Agrigente, des très belles plages sables de Eraclea Minoa ou de la plage des Turcs. La villa est très confortable, bien équipée. Il manque juste une cafetière électrique. Une adresse que je recommande.

Zeer mooi en aangenaam vakantiehuis met alles er op en er aan
We verbleven hier 4 nachten . Het huis was centraal gelegen voor excursies in de buurt . Het terras rond het huis was super . Het bood alle comfort . De eigenares was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam . Ze spreekt enkel Italiaans maar met wat gebaren verstonden we elkaar toch goed . Deze vakantiewoning is zeker een aanrader

Villetta molto bella, in un quartiere tranquillo del paese. Grazie alle indicazioni e ai consigli di Filippo e Daniela, abbiamo visitato le bellissime e solitarie spiagge della zona. Bellissima anche l’escursione in barca che i gentilissimi proprietari ci hanno fatto fare.

Belle maison fleurie, comme sur la photo de l'annonce. Trés calme, à deux pas de la plage. Un seul regret, nous n'avons pas pu faire la ballade en bateau comme indiqué dans l'annonce, indisponibilité des propriétaires à ce moment là.

Villa Lina è davvero molto graziosa e confortevole. Inoltre è situata in posizione strategica, a due passi dal mare, per l'esplorazone di numerose spiagge interessanti e di luoghi ricchi di cultura.

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung
Liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung, durch 2 bedachte Terrassen konnte man seinen Aufenthalt stets im Freien verbringen, auch wenn das Wetter mal nicht so gut war. Sehr nett und hilfsbereit war die Besitzerin Daniela, die einen mit Obst und Gebäck überraschte. Es hat alles super geklappt und wir haben uns sehr gut erholt. Einziges kleines Manko: die Anlage, in der die Ferienwohnung liegt, wirkt etwas renovierungsbedürftig. Aber die Ferienwohnung wiegt das leicht auf!

Großartig!
Die Villa hat einen wunderschönen, großen und geschmackvoll bepflanzten Außenbereich mit mehreren Hängematten, unterschiedlichen Sitzmöglichkeiten im Schatten und einer kompletten Außenküche, sehr gepflegt und gemütlich. Im Haus war alles da, was man braucht, Daniela hat uns sogar eine große Schale mit frischem Obst vorbereitet und viele Tipps für Unternehmungen gegeben. Wir wären gern länger geblieben, die Villa Lina ist ein großartiger Ort zum Entspannen. Danke Daniela (auch für das nachgeschickte Handy, das wir vergessen haben)!
