"Beautiful location excellent staff and service gorgeous setting. Our rooms are a great deal for the price. I got a room with a Riverview. And the restaurant the food was decent. Decent wine list. The fireplace in the lounge is really fun. We played some board games and went on a walk. Gorgeous place. it was rainy, but we still enjoyed ourselves. It’s a really good value for the price point would definitely stay again. "

"Great property and half the rooms have a view of the Columbia River close up. Shopping is across the freeway but only 3 minutes away in Hood River. White Salmon on the Washington side is just across the bridge and Trout Lane and Mt. Adam’s is a short drive away. "

"We enjoyed the historic character of the building. The old bathroom mirror was designed for much taller people, but these minor quirks didn’t bother us. Be prepared to park on the street. Street parking is free in the evening, but will start up at 8 am. Beds were comfortable. We stayed midweek in May and didn’t experience any problems with noise."

"Beautiful grounds and sweeping views of the river. The room was very nice but on the small side and faced toward the freeway. It's newwer building that has good windows so traffic noise was minimal. The room I stayed in had a pretty steep set of stairs leading up to it. Not an issue for me but could be a deal breaker if you have trouble climbing a flight of stairs."
