“Lovely stay. Not quite as convenient without a car but that was on us when we booked. Owner did mention there were bikes available for use though but we didn’t notice until the end of our stay.”

“Beautifuly decorated and comfy beds. Directly on the lake and friendly staff. Bring a gas cooker or one use bbq type thing for your meals or there are Restaurants or I saw a family with take away pizza. A little fridge, cutlery, plates and bowls supplied. Soft, fluffy towels, washing up things too. Supermarket 5 mins away. One needs to be used to being self-sufficient and down to earth. Fresh water tap around the corner, showers and toilets shared and regularly cleaned. Beautiful and peaceful.……

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the houseboat to others. There were two concerns worth……
