The staff was so kind and helpful and gave us great recommendations for walking routes to see nearby street art and a delicious restaurant. No two rooms are a like - all with different touches. Our room was huge and full of such interesting decorations and art on the walls. We had a private outdoor terrace with an incredible view of the city and the sea. “Fauna Hotel is located at mid-hill level of Valparaiso and visit to historic buildings can be done in foot. The hotel also lies in restricted area where large vans are forbidden to enter. Passengers and luggages have to be dropped off the main road and there is a distance of 10 min walk to move between the hotel and drop off location. “Very nice although brief stay. We were able to check in early and were allowed to stay a little later too. Front desk was very nice and helpful. Room was spacious and clean with great views of ocean and hilly town. We used UBER a lot and that worked out great. Area around hotel loaded with restaurants and shops that were well within walking distance.”

“Very charming hotel with a historic feel to it and an excellent location in Cerro Alegre right by the Victoria funicular on a pedestrian only strip (car drop off 2 minutes walk on Montt and Dimalow). The area can get noisy on Saturday night but is safe and the views from the hotel are breathtaking and worth the trip. The room was spacious, beautiful and clean, the bed very comfortable.
