The room and staff was very nice. The whole outside of the building just needs a paint job as this is an older hotel, not like all the new ones on the beach. But had the best price and only walk one block to the beach acrosss the street. For the price was best for me.

Staff members were friendly but short on employees. Our room was not ready after showing up 45 minutes after standard check in time.
The toilet paper holder in room was broken along with shower knob that controls water temp completely fell off.
The WiFi connection went out for over 2 hrs resulting in our family not being able to watch television out use electronic devices.
The indoor pool had children’s food floating in bottom as well as by the filter opening for several nights.
The restaurant also had inconsistent hours and first night of staying someone called in sick resulting in the restaurant not being open.

"This hotel has serious maintenance issues. One of two elevators did not work. Carpets were dirty in the hallways, elevator and room. We had to wear flip flops in the rooms to keep our feet off the carpet. They scented the room so the underlying scent was somewhat covered. There was mold in the caulking ..."
