When I made the reservation at Maca Bana, I looked at the photos and read the reviews. I was confident we would like the place. After being here for a 5-day stay it far exceeded my expectations. Yes the place is beautiful and set within the paradise of Grenada. However, Maca Bana and the related Aquarium restaurant and the beautiful and sparsely populated Magazine beach together are an amazing ensemble. The hotel staff were amazing. One in particular helped us enjoy Grenada in so many ways and quickly became a friend (apparently for this review he must remain nameless). He took care of any want we shared and so graciously. I have never experienced the level of service and warmth from a resort before. This was very unique for us.

La Sagesse is the place to come if you want an enjoyable, peaceful, relaxing getaway. It's like an oasis. Every single member of the staff is very attentive to your needs/requests as well as genuinely caring. The beach is literally steps from your room. The food is fresh and tasty. If you want to go into St. George's, the bus ride is scenic and inexpensive - or the staff can arrange other transportation. I always thoroughly enjoy my stay at La Sagesse and highly, highly recommend it.
