The hotel is really nice in general. We had a Sweet (bigger, nicer, more expensive) but noticed right off the mat, but it felt very hot (lots of windows, but also a lot of radiant heat from the sun. The air conditioner did not seem to be working very well. We asked them to check it on night number three, and they said everything was fine. But when we got back from dinner, it was very very hot. It was definitely cooler outside than inside, so we had to open all of the windows to let a little cool air come in, and threw the blanket on the ground and used only a sheet. It was still super hot all night, and loud as well because of surrounding noises. We hardly slept at all.

The staff were especially nice and helpful. I did use the pool and when I was there it was a very nice crowd and bar. Great location-it’s quiet but if you walk couple blocks at night it has fun loud bars/clubs. They also offered excursions so before you go I would suggest asking them about what they offer (their river cruise was completely booked when I inquired about it). 100%when I go back to Lisbon I will stay here again.
