Weekend getaways in San Gimignano

This is a gorgeous property just outside the town of San Gimignano with many nice amenities. They offer chef prepared dinners each night, which made it so nice after a long day of touring, to just walk over to their dining room & not have to get back in the rental car & search for a parking space in town.

Absolutely such a gem and in the most beautiful setting !! Loved it highly recommend to anyone looking for a small piece of heaven.

The people were so friendly and accommodating! The breakfast, the wine, and the cooking class were spectacular! We felt treated like family!

Wonderful place to stay if you have a car.

Conveniently located close to the centre and the parking (if driving). Our room had also a kitchen. Very clean and comfortable. Only cons is that there is no elevator (our room was at second floor). It was not a problem for us but very important for people with walking difficulties. Highly recommended.

We stayed here as part of our tour through Tuscany. Although we wanted to visit San Gimignano, we knew that it would be packed with tourists and bus tours, so we wanted to find a place close enough to visit the town, but away from the hectic crowds. This place is a gem! Wonderful service, this is Tuscany!! If you're looking for that, can't say enough about it. It's an old farmhouse that they've put a tremendous amount of work into. The room decor is all farm antigues that are beautiful! They also have wonderful Chianti that they make, and olives, and saffron!! The restaurant is wonderful too!! The town is about 2 km, and is lovely! You will need a car to get to this one.

Great boutique hotel in the middle of Tuscany. Wonderful views. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We really loved the complimentary wine tasting at their nearby winery! We only wish their rooftop deck would’ve been open for even better views. The hotel and winery are family owned and it’s very clear that they value every guest!

We loved this place! Getting here was a bit tricky, as the map we were given in the welcome email was of bad quality, so it didn't take us to the correct place right away, but we figured it out, very minor. I'm sure you can ask for a better quality map. When we arrived to check in, we were greeted by Lisa, who was oh so very helpful! She showed us where laundry was, asked all questions we had about WIFI and other hotel things, recommended us 3 terrific places to eat dinner on each of our 3...

We generally get a house in Florence and then spend three days as a side trip in San Gimignano. I truly enjoyed this hotel because of its PROXIMITY TO THE ENTRANCE RATHER THAN TO THE NETHER REACHES. The lady in the reception area was especially kind and most helpful...always a plus!

We made some beautiful memories at Pointe a Nappo and hope to visit again in the future. The entire staff made this stay truly special; we enjoyed getting to know everyone and felt like family. It was hard to leave. We loved the BBQ dinners offered a few nights during our stay. A delicious meal cooked with love on a beautiful patio, couldn't have asked for more.
