"The worst hotel or if I may say (resort) I have ever stayed in, a resort of this size should have at least 8am to 10pm reception if not 24/7 but the reception were only open between 10am to 4pm and they would close between 12pm to 1pm for lunch break. The place is located in the middle of no where, locals shops and stores shuts before 9 or 10pm, the hotel it self has one place to eat or drink but I don’t think we call it a restaurant or a bar. "Excellent for young kids and families. Our chalet was next to the woods and very quiet. Large soft play, outdoor pool, kids club, kids activities and playgrounds suited our age 6 and 2 grandkids. Used the restaurant one night and pizza takeaway another. Would definitely go again"

"Very nice place with comfortable large cabins and a great location. The unit was very well equipped, it was very clean and much roomier than I expected. Staff was friendly and helpful and the location is remote but also easy to get to local shops for supplies, either by car or bicycle. This time of year is very quiet, but I can imagine in the summer it is quite busy with many families. "

"Wir haben eine schöne Zeit in der Residence Lichtenvoorde verbracht. Die Anlage ist ruhig und hat eigentlich alles was man braucht an Infrastruktur. Es ist nur schade, dass der Park nicht groß genug ist für einen Brötchenservice oder ein Restaurant mit Frühstücksangebot. Allerdings war das Besteck bei Ankunft nicht sauber und man sollte die Silikonfugen im Bad mal erneuern. Das ist ein Aufwand von 1-2 Stunden und alle paar Jahre einfach notwendig. "

"Heerlijk plekje in de Achterhoek! Grote tuin, lekkere hottub, fijne sauna en vooral veel privacy. Lekker om even bij te komen. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar! De living is echter wel klein als je er met meer dan 4 personen zou verblijven. Handig om vooraf te weten, is dat er een boiler is. Dit kan lastig zijn als je met meer dan 2 personen bent. De zoon van de eigenaren was erg vriendelijk en enorm behulpzaam."

Jeder hat hier ein kleines Häuschen mit allem was dazugehört. Obwohl die Häuser recht nah beieinander stehen, hatte jeder seine Privatsphäre. Wir waren das erste mal in einem Ferienhaus. "Ulft is a charming town with plenty of access to nature walks. Marielle is an excellent host. The location in Ulft is good - everything in the town is walking distance. I would recommend this experience."
