Beach João and 900 meters from Aveiros beach. Guests can find Continente and Pingo Doce supermarket 250 meters away, or a 6-minute drive away.

It offers the guests a swimming pool, a poolside bar and a communal parking space outside. The apartment has the advantage of a good location, close to the tourist strip in Oura with many bars, shops and restaurants nearby.

The complex is located in a quiet area with several nearby beaches. It is located 800 meters from the Oura Beach, (10 minutes walk), 600 meters from Forte S. John and 900 meters from the Aveiros beach. Guests will find a supermarket 250 meters away, and there is a 6-minute trip by bus to the main supermarkets Continent and Pingo Doce.

The property was clean and neat when we arrived. The outside areas are very well maintained. Maria the owner was always very helpful and courteous. The problems we had were with the VRBO app. There was no way I could find to do an attachment to be sent to the owner.

Internet/wifi needs to be stronger. Mattress on twin bed needs to be replaced. Washing machine has mold on internal gasket (most people forget to scrub this regularly) which makes clothes smell bad. Air conditioner has mold on vents. Excellent, helpful host!

Good base to explore nearby areas
Great location to have as a base to drive to the nearby beaches or to check out parts of Albuferia. The apartment offered umbrellas and chairs for use. I appreciated that it had a washing machine as I was in the middle of a trip and was able to have clean clothes. It also has a complete kitchen if you want a break from eating out. The only thing missing was a hair dryer (minor).

We were pleased with the location… great for walking everywhere. For long stay not really well equipped…a few things need to be upgraded. With having the owner out of country harder to have things fixed if needed. It says in the write up cleaning weekly…. Not true, only if you request it and pay. This should be made very clear.

Apartment was really good! We had a fantastic time in Albufeira. Maria is a great host. I was contacted prior to my arrival to see if we needed airport transfers. Within an hour or so of arriving in the resort, Maria contacted me again to ensure we had found the apartment and that everything was ok for us. She also arranged for a cleaner to come and change our bedding and towels. Very impressed with the communication from Maria. The apartment itself has a large comfy bed in the bedroom, along with a small tv. The main living area has air con, table and chairs, a single bed and a (double) sofa bed and a larger smart tv. Bathroom has bath (with shower head), toilet, bidet. Full kitchen with washing machine and pots/ pans, mugs, glasses and cutlery. There is a small garden with table and chairs and a clothes airer. Good Wi-Fi. It is in a small, quiet complex with a communal swimming pool and sun loungers. The poolside bar wasn’t open during our stay. A short walk to both the strip and the old town. Beaches nearby. Weather was fantastic! Apartment had everything we needed; not much storage space for our clothes, but we made full use of the clothes hangers on the back of the doors etc. All in all a fantastic place and an amazing holiday. Property was exactly what we needed, full kitchen facilities, cafe bar next door, restaurant in front, pool with loungers & cushions. location was great but not as shown on VRBO map (please check) VRBO shows apartment half way up the bar strip (it isn't). Its located on lower road which is a much nicer area (Bonus) would defo stay again, Maria was very helpful

Communication was good. Small quiet place, good for one or two people on a budget. Good location. I asked for some towels and they provided with body soap too. Had a beach umbrella. Kitchen could use some updating. A bit musty, not sure why. Open the windows or run the Air conditioning. Missing a coffee machine

more cons than pros
The pros: clean, good location, parking The cons: - Poor communication - If you know that no one finds the place, as you mentioned afterwards, you need to tell your guests upfront and send them the "magical" map asap, instead of waiting for them to walk in the rain for 1/2 hour because you won't answer the phone. Also, had to sit in front of the unit to find out where the key was because, again, the person wouldn't answer the phone - No toilet paper - I mean, really? Really. None. Unfortunately, we found that out the worst possible way. - No soap - Well, if no TP, then no soap is no surprise. - Nothing to make coffee with. No plastic filter holder, or coffee maker. - Washing machine didn't work. No bid deal, but when we asked, we were told to check the fuse box. Not something your guests want to be messing with, but Ok. - Cold weather and not enough blankets. There was one thin quilt on each bed so we had to bundle up. The apartment itself is cold.

Very basic accommodation but clean, with all necessaries (except glasses, only one wine glass and a couple of tumblers, all chipped or cracked - minor issue). Very quiet location though easy walk to beach, strip or old town. Lovely clean pool area.

Excellent apartment in fabulous location.
Excellent ground floor apartment which is situated between The Strip and the Old Town. Very comfy king-size bed and contains everything you need for an enjoyable stay . Apartment is in a quiet area which guarantees a good night's sleep and is only a short distance away from the pool. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely stay in a quiet location.
This was a lovely apartment in a quiet location yet just minutes walk to the very lively strip . Really nice snack bar at the top of the hill ( very friendly owner ) . The apartment was spotlessly clean , compact but we had everything we needed . If I was to make a small criticism it would be the lack of cooking facilities but there are plenty of cafes and bars about.also pool area was lovely All in all a great stay (Check in was not a problem-and we arrived very late .)

Fantastic location and everything you would need!
We had a great time at Maria's apartment in the Sereia da Oura apartments. It is small, but more than adequate for two people sharing. It was clean and tidy. We didn't need to use the kitchen often as there are quite a few cafes and bars close by, although there is everything you would need to cook a meal (utensils, hob, microwave, kettle etc.). The air conditioning came in useful, although the apartment never got too hot. The pool is a stone's throw from the room, and the pool bar is open all day, serving local beer for €1.50. The beach was just a ten minute walk downhill. We were only 5 mins walk to The Strip, and the Tourist Train (turistrem) stop is at the end of the street to take you to the Old Town in about 5 minutes as well (or it would be roughly a 20 min walk). You can buy an all day ticket for the train for €4 (at the time we were there), and it will take you on around to the Strip as well after you've visited the Old Town. Everyone we met and spoke to were very friendly and helpful. This is our second time staying in Albufeira and would definitely stay at this apartment again. It has everything you need for a week of relaxing in the sunshine, and it's location is fantastic for reaching all parts of the town (no matter what type of holiday you are after!).
