Superb location in center of town with easy availability of transportation. Cannot say enough about staff-helpfull and multi-lingual. Clean,quiet hotel. Did not eat breakfast in the hotel and everday went to a different cafe for coffee and pastry. Probably the best choice to go outside of the hotel for breakfast. Would stay again and have no problem recommending the hotel.

When you set inside this hotel you feel like you've been transported back in time and I mean that in a very positive way! My husband and I were only in Lisbon for one night so we wanted to stay in an upscale, historical hotel. We were not disappointed! This is truly a beautiful, classic hotel! Our room was clean with comfortable beds. The only downside was the A/C wasn't as cold as we would have liked but honestly it may have been that we didn't adjust the thermostat correctly. The breakfast was held in a gorgeous ballroom which included a huge variety on delicious breakfast foods. A great stay, fit for a King and Queen!

Thoroughly enjoyed our city break in Lisbon - Hotel was VERY central to many of the sites. Also very close to the train station - where we took the train to Cascais & Estoril. Near Metro and Ferry station. Very good choice - would thoroughly recommend it.

Hotel das Artes is conveniently located on the outskirts of the old town, and in easy walking distance of the river. It offers secure parking (should you wish to use a car) otherwise there is a tour bus stop within 5 minutes walk of the hotel, enabling you to easily access all the tourist spots that you may want to see. Beds are comfortable, and the room was quiet. Breakfast was of good quality, but a little limited in choice. Porto itself was a bit scruffy in parts, but invariably felt "safe" and is well worth a visit: we spent 2 days there, but wish we had stayed longer, as we could easily have kept ourselves amused for several more.

Loved Porto and also loved this hotel. Excellent location in the old part of the city but still very quiet. The conversion from old building to new hotel is really interesting, with lots of the beautiful old stone visible, giving it heaps of character. Fantastic staff, particularly front desk and also in the restaurant. The food was so good we went back on consecutive nights. Hope to visit again soon!

The Lake Resort is a great hotel for a relaxing holiday. We found all the staff very polite and helpful. The fusion restaurant served excellent food and the Marina with lots of bars and restaurants was a short walk. There is probably not enough to keep teenagers occupied but for couples looking for some time away the Lake Resort is about perfect. We will certainly return.

Amazing experience staff were friendly and approachable. It was nice as I was traveling on my own. I felt comfortable at home and safe. I would book again and recommend to anyone.
