This welcoming budget friendly house is the perfect base for a short term or extended stay in Antigua. Conveniently located just six miles from the heart of English Harbour, this rustic home leaves you just a short drive to cultural attractions, Nelsons Dockyard, Shirley Heights, Devils Bridge National Park, Antigua Rain Forest Canopy tours.

The home is situated on land as far as your eyes can see. The land is lined with many exotic fruit trees. The home’s wrap around covered front porch is an ideal space to start each day with lemon grass tea, that you can take from Bush trees. The rear of the home faces the village mountain views. The back gallery is the best place to sit and cool off and and feel the mountain breeze.

This rustic home comes with basic essentials for your stay. A Roku TV to stream your favorite shows, a dedicated desk are available in the bedroom, for casual entertainment or remote working. There is one window air conditioning in back bedroom only. Our home has one AC.window unit only in the back bedroom, for the entire home. As an Antiguan living home we do not depend or use AC instead we would leave the windows and back gallery door open during the day, and close before dust. This rustic home does not have window screens on multiple window.

Our home has a total of three boarded windows, which will not affect your stay. However you should be aware of this in the living room, front bedroom and back bedroom.

The pictures show all the areas you would have access to in our home. However please note there is a half bathroom with a toilet next to the back bedroom which is non functional with a closet that can be used only, access to iron and ironing board, so used as a laundry room. We have a ring video doorbell for security on the front exterior door only.

Terrible place
The main reason why we cannot recommend this place is its moldy, dusty smell throughout the house (smells like there used to be a water damage), it is very dirty, sticky and generally in a very bad condition (we have stayed at different places around the world; the condition of this place is comparable to a cheap hostel). A construction site was located in the gallery of the living room which we were not informed about. The kitchen is half falling apart, big cracks run down the walI and the ceiling is hanging down. The stove's gas tank is placed inside the house without any ventilation. The front door does not properly lock from the inside. The property's gate is rusty, has sharp edges and cannot be locked. Overall it was such an unpleasant experience that we left after just one night.
