"A great historical property which is not too far from the main roads. A converted church, so voices tend to carry. Great for solo travellers because you can get a room for one person. Bathrooms have all amenities, but could use a larger floor mat outside of shower, floors were a little slippery. Inside main quarters, beautiful stained glass and ceiling features. Front desk was very helpful. "

"Nice room , the lighting could be better . Otherwise, all good. We slept well even there were traffic noise from the road."

"Brilliant idea letting out students rooms at the summer break, beautiful settings and loads of amenities locally. The “Scran”restaurant brilliant,tasty food and great staff and prices. There is a shop and a chemist on grounds. Scenery beautiful.rooms basic and comfortable.communal area for making lunch,tea etc My only criticism would be maybe too basic rooms,no hand towels or anywhere to put your shampoo etc in shower. "The hostel was clean and tidy. Also close to all transport services to get around Stirling."

"It's a unique concept but wish the property was more well cared for and that they don't cram that many people in the space. It feels a bit like a slum. Twelve people, six bunk beds are a lot for such a tight space. The room smells. And bathroom + kitchen + common space get so overused that it seems to be always dirty"

"Hi son stayed for 3 weeks, first week room not cleaned 2nd week maids went in and cleared all his stuff out even though he was booked in for another 2 weeks. Would not use again."

"Apartment is very well appointed and had everything we needed. There is a small co-op in Clackmannan, but you will need to go to Alloa for everything else. We were close to the Dollar Glen hike and a day at St. Andrews, as well."
