No window in our 9x9 foot room. Extremely hot. No ventilation. Staff unable to move us to another room or unwilling. Stated we were told there was no window. No such communication with us. Finally found us a fan on the fourth day. Had to open the door and use the fan to bring in air.

A well priced property in a good location between the airport and central station. The room was a little noisy and you could hear other guests in the stairwell and other rooms, but the rooms were clean and warm. Would stay again.

Short stay in Amsterdam
Nice size double room with it’s own veranda and furniture, overlooking leafy gardens. The tv wasn’t getting any reception so we were given complimentary breakfasts as a recompense.

Hotel needs some investment. Dirty shower with hair in the drain, advised receptionist nothing happened. Electrical fittings are old and in need of replacement. Don’t buy the breakfast. Close to the town. In the UK this would be £80 a night.

This hotel is in a fantastic location in Amsterdam close to transportation, the Museumplein and the Leidseplein. The hotel has charm and could use some updating but the bathrooms are updated. The lack of electrical outlets is a minus for travelers

Basic but good location
An ok room in a good location. A bit cramped fit 3 guests but you get what you pay for. Two bonuses- a left luggage locker and a kettle in the room. And we had an extra surprise of a balcony! Downside- only 1 plug socket for kettle and all the chargers etc., only other socket was for by high up near the ceiling. Take a good plug with usb ports!

Well where to begin, arrived to a tiny twin bed room where there was no room to have the twin beds as two separate beds. The floor wasn’t cleaned the entirety of our trip and the bathroom flooded every time you used the shower. Cleaning of rooms doesn’t appear to be a thing, we left our room to the cleaner going into our room and came back over an hour later to her still in our room but the only things that had been done to the room was fresh towels in the bathroom and bin emptied, the floor was still dirty, beds weren’t touched. Our room was obviously part of a much larger room that had been split into 2 smaller rooms using a really thin wall which led to the whole wall moving when next door banged up against tue walls and you could hear all conversations they had as well as those downstairs due to poor sound proofing. There was a balcony that was part of tue room as a whole but when room was split it only gets accessed by 1 room but tue problem is that the users of the balcony can see into your entire room from their balcony And when they smoke on it you have no choice but to shut tue tiny window unless you don’t mind the smell of smoke. Overall not a great place to stay in, was more of a hostel then hotel, only good thing about it was the location was next to a park which was lovely to sit in on warm days.

Horrible hotel. The heating is not warm enough, the bed no comfortable at all, the bathroom is super small, you cannot even take a proper shower. For this price I was expecting more, this hotel is basically a hostal. I would recommend booking a hostel instead and save yourself money

I don’t understand why this hotel has so many bad reviews, my stay was good, the hotel is located in a great area, the staff was nice. We could hear a lot of noises from the corridor and the stairs, our room was right underneath them, but it wasn’t a big problem. The room was well lit and very warm! Overall it was worth the price.

Lovely little hotel in a great area just 5 minutes walk from shops bars restaurants and coffee shops. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean, beds were comfortable. Bathroom was nice with a rainfall shower, lovely little balcony with furniture would definitely recommend and stay again. Tv didnt work but we never used it anyway, only hotel noise was people coming and going you get that everywhere so dont let reviews put you off.

Very convinient place to stay , near the central. The hotel staff were very polite and nice. Hotel room doesnt come with any sort of kettle or fridge so you cant have a warm drink when you come in from a comd walk but other than that room was good.

Room key stopped working every day during the stay. Staff wouldnt replace the key. I got locked outside the hotel for 30 minutes in the evening Rooms very dirty and most amenities aren’t available as listed Both myself and partner covered in bites i think the beds are full of bed bugs…. Definitely wouldn't reccomend

The hotel information provided at the time of our booking was all correct, with the exception of there being a breakfast service between 8am and 10am. The hotel is very conveniently located for walkable access to the Museum Quarter and to the historic city centre of Amsterdam. The only point which was disappointing was that there was no breakfast service due to Covid restrictions. It wasn't quite clear why these restrictions applied to this hotel and not to the others in the local area (who were quite happy to allow us to dine with them - at an additional cost). The staff were very helpful and I'd like to commend the reception staff for the assistance that they offered to us.

The house and view are very nice and the ladies have been very helpful. Unfortunately we were relocated to Quentin Amsterdam and after celebrating into the morning were woken by the fire alarm. Bed is comfortable but bathroom is still from the 90s and surfaces were sticky in the room. Good to crash but not a place to relax

The location of this place is really great. And that is the best thing we can say about that. Only had maid service clean the room the last out of 3 nights there, only after informing the front desk 3x that we needed new towels because of an overflowing shower drain. The room was stamp size small, there was coffee in the room or even glasses of we had our own drinks. Not even hangers in the closet. A lot of attention to detail missing in this place. Won't stay again.

I had prepaid for a three day stay to this hotel in January. When we arrived on September 12th at 4:30 am, we discovered that the hotel had been sold and was no longer in business!

The people were nice, no problem. The stairs were extremely steep, I lost my balance and fell on arriving. I thought the site pictures were misleading. Being on the 4th floor was not optimal. You can hear everyone coming and going. More for younger people on a budget.

We stayed here for 3 nights. They didn’t clean the room during the day despite us putting the sign on the door. The didnt change the towels either, we had to go to reception once we got in at night and ask for new towels. The Room is basic but did the job. There’s enough to do in Amsterdam so you don’t have to worry about being stuck in your hotel room. We stayed in room 7, 2 single beds pushed together. The door in the bathroom looked like it needed replacing and there is a slight hazard with the pipe in the shower half of the bathroom. It sticks out and it gets extremely hot. You get what you pay for, it was ok. The beds were ok but both me and my boyfriend kept waking up during the night.
