“Exceptional European Hotel”

After staying in the Jolly Hotel in Brussels for a few days, I was overjoyed with my stay in the Renaissance in Amsterdam. Great room, with good size, generally quiet, and great service. Loved the location as well. This will be my choice of hotels when staying in Amsterdam.

“Great Location”

This hotel has a fantastic location being less than 5 minutes walking distance to Centraal Station. The rooms were very comfortable and have ALL been recently refurbished. There are some building works taking place in the communal areas and the 'health club' attached to the hotel is a bit rough, but I would definitely recommend this hotel. The works look as though they should be completed by November time.

The hotel is well located and is within 5 minutes walkikng distance from the Central Station and the terminus for most bus and tram routes. Canal cruises are also within easy reach. The friendliness of all staff is impressive and the standard of the room was extremely good. The only complaint is that there are no tea/coffee making facilities although there is a great choice of complimentary hot drinks served in the reception area in the morning. Although we did not eat at the restaurant, the atmosphere and menu looked good and would have been considered if our stay was longer. Found a fantastic Indonesian Restaurant called The Blue Pepper which is well worth a visit. I would certainly return.

“One of Amsterdam's Finest Places to Stay”

After a great renovation that looked to be finally over, the Renaissance Amsterdam was exceptional in all ways. The lobby was impressive with its fireplace and marble floors, the always friendly staff catered to any need/request, and our room was awesome. The enormous flat screen TV, plush sheets on the king size bed, great bathroom and stocked minibar was a huge plus. After staying here in years past, the upgrades were greatly appreciated and will make this hotel an absolute must on my next trip.

Brilliant hotel in a very central location. At the time I went Expedia were doing this very classy 5 star hotel at a very competitive price! 10/10

“One of Amsterdam's finest”

Lovely hotel, convenient location 5 minute walk from train station. Ideally located to be just outside of the hussle and bussle but in walking distance of everything. Couldn't fault the hotel, communal area's were first class and room was really nice. Free tea and coffee provided in bar area in the mornings. Only thing we missed was the tea and coffee making facilities in the room but this is quite common in Europe I think. Would definitely come back to this hotel.

The hotel is well located - just a five minute walk from Centraal Station (and canal trips), plus walking distance to all main sites. It was also very quiet. We had a room for 3 people which also gave us access to the club lounge, which was a real bonus. The room was extremely cheap considering the location and high standards of the hotel. I would highly recommend it.
