It's in the heart of the entertainment street (fields ave). All clubs literally walking within 1 minute if hotel. *Restaurant is 24hrs, serve all kinds of Western food breakfast , lunch, dinner! *24hr convenience store with alchole and drinks and snacks just 1 min down the side street. **Hotel room (bathroom) especially is run down, but okay for a solo traveller. Shower plumbing is off and have to relay in tub faucet no shower head pressure working my last night!

While I did enjoy my stay at Kokomos, there are a few things that they need to address. The main 2 are WiFi and TV. They have six or seven different WiFi connections to log into and they are ALL horrible. They constantly drop every few seconds to a minute and they takes a few minutes to reconnect and start the cycle all over. Makes it impossible to do anything and extremely hard to message anyone. TV, while I never plan to spend much time in my room, but those few hours I do spend in my room, I think its important to have TV or I should say cable to be more specific. They only 7 channels and 4 out of the 7 was different news... CNN, Euronews, Chinese news and I forget the other one. The other 3 was terrible local channels. At least they can have one movie channel available. Recommendations, get rid of half of the WiFi connections and focus on having 3 STRONG working connections. Have at least one working movie channel, HBO is an all time favorite for most. I did enjoy my stay, room was nice and the staff was great.

This Legend has been part of the Angeles scene for a long time. The hotel has a lot of character. It is not like a moden new hotel and all that but I would highly recommend staying here for the memories if nothing else. And the staff are super friendly and take care of you. Nothing not to like really.

Always a great place to stay
This is such a great place to stay, budget minded, clean, nice pool great bars., and the greatest staff. Right on the main strip, if you don't feel like doing anything you can sit, have an ice tea, cocktail, or beer, and people watch, watch the world walk by.

Great location. But... 1. Unfortunately despite reminding the staff to check the working condition of aircon during booking. We still received a faulty aircon room. Slept few nights in a non working aircon, informed multiple staff about it but still the same when back to room at night. Only till final night, the attending manager switch us to another hotel to stay. The rest of the staff doesn't seem interested to attend to customers feedback or valid concerns. 2. We stayed at the poolside, every morning as early as 5 am plus, you will hear lots of chatting from the staff, omg. 3. Repair of roofing also done in early morning without any notice, omg. That's the last thing you ask for after a nights party.

No phone in room. Came in room bugs running all over. Bugs on me when I got up . Had to pay for water and no coffee in room. If you wanted a nice quiet place to sleep at night this is not the place to stay at. Breakfast was with reservation and had to pay for that .

Great location on Walking street. Voodoo's bar is attached to the hotel and good place to grab a drink. The pool is not heated so the water is cold but refreshing. All the girls and waitresses come out back to the pool area to take breaks and eat/smoke so you get to see them all there. The restaurant serves a great breakfast and has good coffee. But your not allowed to eat outside food in the pool area. You must eat it in your room

The property is right in the heart of the action. The staff were excellent, including the waitresses and counter staff and bed maid. The room, though very small would have been great with a coat of paint (quite dirty looking). Only other complaint is the wifi sucked so bad I had to walk around the entire property with my lap top to gain access for mandatory business access. I chose a cheap room which accommodated me as expected, however (just my luck) I am in rm 16 which is right at the stairs allowing all noises of walking street to be present (all night long). Overall good experience because the staff makes up for the owner's reluctance to up-grade the wifi or paint the rooms.

Always enjoy staying at Kokomo's, left early about 4am because the neighboring establishment was having their Christmas Party and I needed to sleep hahaha. All in all an enjoyable stay, best staff ever!

Front desk staff was the best part of the stay there. Excellent English speaking, mature, down to earth, competent. I would stay at Kokomos again for the convenience of the 24-hour restaurant, Voodoo lounge, the location, and the front desk staff. The only thing that could be improved is the smell of the water coming out of the shower.

I love their restaurant. I eat there all the time with I am in this city, but staying at the hotel I get 10% off my food. Awesome. Unfortunately the internet connection in the room was not good. I had to go to the restaurant to use WiFi. As always, the staff at Kokomos is amazing. I love all of them. They are the best.

We'll i work fora hotel chain and what I say is the truth as I saw it.. The Good: Great location and the food is good, staff was also good and whic quick checking..Bad: The rooms are horrible and outdated.. There was something in the roof or walls that sounded like rats. Kept me up all night. Great location but loud music all night so I wouldn't stay in front. Also i saw roaches in bathroom. There other hotelsi would go to to stay. As far as going for drinks and sitting at the bar it's perfect right by walking street.

Friendly restaurant and hotel staff. But a mystery toothbrush confirmed my suspicion that the maid staff was consuming my mouthwash and toothpaste. The failing WiFi was also troublesome. An exposed nailhead on the bed frame scratched legs. Poor electrical wiring caused a wall light switch to shut off the tv and have an adjacent outlet smoke and shot sparks; they taped over the switch. Dogs, cats and rats ran above the overhead metal roof. Wifi was usually down. 24 hour kitchen noises included stacking washed plates. Also strong food odors. The location was entertaining, but other options will be considered next time.

The room of the hotels is below average , so much noise at restaurant and can’t fall slept . The advantage on this hotel are the location and can’t believe it has a swimming pool although it was not big and I still enjoyed it.
