Misleading and deceiptful advertising

"Parking is 100m and uphill !! All steps! Owner nearly an hour late to meet at property. Opposite to what is says about meeting on arrival ! and about being open 11am to 9pm. Wifi for access code did not work. You have to have an APP to get room code. So ridiculous and complicated!! just to open a door!! You are expected to be on the internet all the time for their updates ! It is no good expecting mail to be read whilst you are en route? and especially after having arrived. Too obsessed with technology!! Room like a shoebox. Toilet in bed room. No privacy . Owner discovered to enter room when we are not in!! Check the cancellation policy as is misleading. No integrity. Room was clean but It is like sleeping in a garage. Concrete floor! No idea where pool is in the advertising ! Bare minimum services to get maximum money. How they get"exceptional" reviews is quite bizarre ? and makes you wonder if genuine."

The hotel sits part way up a large incline that leads to a castle fortress. You can walk or bike the path to the castle (recommend sneakers and water) or drive. The castle lies along a self-guided walking path that continues down the incline, past the hotel, and down into the city. There are guideposts along the way with interesting formation about local historical sites. The hotel itself is beautiful and offers gorgeous views overlooking the city. If you want to go down into the city, I do recommend driving or getting a cab, however, as it is not that close to restaurants and shopping. We ended up eating at the hotel for breakfast and diner each day. Breakfast was a lovely buffet in a pretty, quiet glassed-in room. We had dinner out on the patio at the restaurant and had zero complaints - everything was very tasty! There is a lovely pool on site as well with several lounge chairs - it never got crowded while we were there. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The WiFi worked well and the rooms were clean, with nice shower facilities. Overall,no complaints and one of our favorite stays on our trip"

Summer Get Away Aug 2023

"The Villa was very nice and had everything you would need. The outside space was amazing, The pool Is lovely and clean and was bigger enough for our 3 kids to enjoy. The views are spectacular with the surrounding areas very peaceful. Just right to enjoy a relaxing holiday. There was plenty of seating area and sun beds, Also a good, shaded area to avoid the heat of the Sun. The Owners were quick to respond to any Questions, Also provided key information for our stay. A visit to Valencia is a must, There are some great markets, and the beach was 5 stars. Also, a very good Shopping Outlet just outside Valencia. There is also a nice Waterpark only 40 mins drive from the Villa. In all we had a very relaxing holiday and would highly recommend your stay at Mel and Dave's Villa."

Lovely well equipped villa

"This is a spacious 4 bed villa that is well equipped for all your needs. The on-site manager and owner were very responsive to queries and problems. The only real problem was that you need to take care with the electrics, especially the fridge, and not overhead the system. It’s better to fill the fridge over a couple of days rather than ram it full on day 1! You need a car a car as there are no local shops, and the metro into València (at August 2023) is truncated, so you need a car to get to the metro- which is the best way to get to València. Overall we had a great time there."
