I did not know that this was a motel (doors opening to the outside world rather than an interior hallway), which I intensely dislike. I guess that's on me for not looking at the listing more closely. The person who checked us in was extremely friendly and accommodating, allowing us to check in early. Bed was comfortable and fridge kept things cold. The bathtub was slick while taking a shower and I had to hold the rail most of the time so I wouldn't fall. The worst part, though, was the noise coming for adjoining rooms and the footsteps of people walking above us... vary annoying.

Came back to room around 11:30pm. Turned on tv and had no signal. Front desk said unplug and replug tv . Did it three times and got signal but only one channel. One side of the mattress sunk down in about four inches. The breakfast bar was very good. The girl tending the breakfast bar was friendly and polite.

Although staff were good, hotel was in sad shape. First room key lock did not work, mirror and fittings were broken. Moved to another room, floor boards were coming apart, tub drain broken, TV worked sometimes, paper thin walls. Obvious that the renovation was done quickly and to poor standards. In places, the flooring was not finished or coming apart. Really disappointed. I would rate this as a one star hotel.

Lots of Pluses to Lodge with at the Best Western.
I was pleasantly surprised on the quality of my room. The room was spacious and had a refrigerator - microwave combo inside a wooden cabinet that blended into the decor The art work was indicative of the Annapolis. The vanity was long &fully stock with miniature toiletries. There was a coffee pot with everything to make a good cup of joe. There was plenty of running hot water for long shower. The king size bed was framed with a dark wooden headboard. There were lots of fluffy pillows. The room was very inviting and smelled crisp and fresh. I was there for a conference so I used the work desk and rollaway chair most of the stay. BW provided a full hot breakfast complete with fluffy eggs, pancakes, pork or turkey sausage and an array of cereals, fruits & yogurt. The dining area was renovated and modern. The hostess was friendly and keep the area tidy. I was greeted by Brandon on arrival. He was very friendly and gave me information about the BW. I had contacted the BW with a problem with online registration, he was the person that help me to navigate my hotel.com gift card issue. The BW is across the street from a lovely strip mall with restaurants, nail salon, Giant supermarket. I could see Target from my window. The Westfield Mall is about 4 minutes away. The BW is right of I 97. I will choose the BW if I am needing lodging in Annapolis again.

My grandson and I stayed here one night and I found the room clean, beds were very comfortable. It was very quiet even though we were on the bottom floor. Breakfast was good and plenty of choices. Would stay here again

The room was comfortable and nicely updated for an older motel. We were very impressed. We loved the breakfast! It was the best we have ever had in a hotel. Josiah was awesome! He was very gracious and friendly and very attentive to our needs and to his job!! Many kudos to Josiah!! The front desk associates were very friendly and helpful. We will stay there again on our next visit to Annapolis!!
