Lovely staff
Lovely staff providing lovely service. Unfortunately we didn’t sleep too well due to noise outside our window through the night but this wasn’t the fault of the hotel.

Rest gap
Was a rest gap for a long drive. Never arrived till late in the evening but could not of asked for better service, friendly and welcome after a long drive and made us feel at ease 🙂 room was very clean and comfy, slept like a log. Breakfast was also more then we could have asked for to, would not think twice about staying again!

Overnight Stay
The receptionist was nice and extremely helpful. The room was clean and a good size. It brought on a smile to see a Tunnock's Marshmallow lying on the towels displayed on the bed. The shower was good and the towels were soft and fluffy. The bed was really comfy. Breakfast was good. All in all, a satisfying one night stay.

The only hotel I have ever stayed in where there was no wardrobe or even a coat hanger . Room tiny and cramped . Would not go back

A Little Gem
Fabulous 1 night stay. Very welcoming staff, and the room was comfortable, clean and spacious enough. Nice big TV and the bed and pillows were one of the comfiest we've slept in for a small village hotel. Lovely breakfast cooked to order, and did I mention the Tunnocks Tea Cake .....mmmmmm Wouldnt hesitate to stay here again

The accommodation is very basic as rooms above pub. My room was nicely put together and clearly newly decorated. However it did not a have wardrobe only hooks to hang clothes, the bed was the wrong way round and the mattress and pillows poor quality. The ensuite was overall clean but the shower dispenser did not work. A full coffee/tea tray was provided and a nice touch was a tunnocks teacake. The breakfast was lovely and of reasonable quality.
