"This is a lovely hotel. Staff are impeccable and very friendly. The architectural character of the building is very interesting. It appears to be a renovation of an early 1900's, un-reinforced masonry, Craftsman-Art nouveau style building, with a colonial interior. The details are truly amazing right down to the ironwork's. I was fooled until they told me it was built 16 years ago! Very comfortable, super clean, hi-end linens, rooftop pool, everything worked well, restaurant was excellent, breakfast perfect. Across the street is a new shopping center with extensive food court and outdoor dining in a large courtyard. This is arguably the best Asuncion has to offer!"
