Guys trip
This was a great place to stay. People staying there are usually regulars and extremely friendly. Has a very nice pool. Room is small but all I am looking so is perfect. The whole process is extremely easy. Have rented this unit twice now and will continue to rent it. Great value and enjoyable stay

Do not rent! This property is not a condo at all. It is an old run down motel that is renting rooms. We came in standing that we only had one room, but it was with the expectation that the one room was part of an actual condo. And it cost the same to stay at the Doubletree down the road with an ocean view and direct beach access!! Beware!

Great Location
Loved the location of this VRBO. Caught blue crab off the dock just a few steps from the room and went swimming and relaxing in the beach just a short distance across the street. Had no concerns about the condo it’s self so nice inside. Was a little nervous when I seen the outside of it but don’t let looks full you. The pool was WONDERFUL and there is a spray off area in two locations that I seen around the pool area. There wasn’t any at the beach so that was so nice! There are utensils, pots, pans, plates, and bowls. I did leave some seasonings behind for the next visitor. Would stay here again.

Great Family Spot
We stayed at two different VRBOs for our week away in Atlantic Beach and this one was so great. Just a walk across the street to the beach and the pool is great! Super cute and clean room. I can not wait to go back!!

Prefect Space
Great condo to allow us be near friends in the same condominium! Very clean room in a good spot on property. Owner is great with communication if you ever needed anything. We will use again in the future!

Just right for a couple nights
The room was spotless when we arrived. The kitchenette has all the basics we needed for cooking breakfast, and would’ve sufficed for simple dinners as well. The beach is just across the street, so it’s a near perfect location.

Horrible start, nice finish
The place I booked had issues with the smoke detector beeping. I called and they were coming out. I unpacked as I was waiting. While he worked on that I found the TV didn’t work. While they did great finding a new room I wasn’t happy to have to repack and move. Once I got to the new location it was very nice. Bed softer than I like but personal preference. Would have been perfect if the pools were heated

Weekend Beach Getaway
Stayed at this property in mid-September for a last-minute trip. The owner was very responsive and got back quickly when there was a question about the property. The location was close to major conveniences and the beach access was great!

It was in a very good location for getting to the beach. The room looked as pictured but wasn't cleaned very well as there was a bit of fecal matter on the top of the toilet seat. The road was very dangerous to cross to get to the beach access also. At times the other guests were super loud when trying to sleep at night but wasn't too bad considering it was a holiday weekend.

Thank you for your review. We do wish you would have contacted us regarding the fecal matter on the toilet. We would have sent the cleaners back right away! As we state in our check in instructions we ask you to contact us with any maintenance or cleaning issues at check in. The road does have a cross walk for pedestrians so I do hope future guests aren't discouraged thinking that getting to the beach is a big issue. Obviously, it is a street and you'd want to be aware of any cars that fail to follow the road rules. As for the other guest being loud, we do apologize. Again, if you would have notified us we would have gladly dealt with that as well. Normally, most guests are very respectful. We are sorry you had these problems.

Weekend get away
Our family had a great time while staying here. We used to own a trailer in this area but had to sell it last year so it was great to be able to find something similar. Condo is in great location as far as restaurants and places to do things. We were also able to fish off of the boat dock on the sound side. I would love to come stay again

Best Family Vacation spot
Absolutely loved everything about this vacation! The location was perfect, condo accommodations were awesome with beautiful decor. Hostess communication was timely and precise. Atlantic beach is by far now one of my favorite beaches! We will definitely be returning and soon.

Perfect location with a relaxed atmosphere
My daughter and I stayed for a short vacation and we couldn’t have had a better time. The condo was cute and tidy and just big enough for the two of us. It’s right across the street from public access to the beach and really close to restaurants and shopping and the Aquarium. We will definitely use again and highly recommended if you don’t need fancy accommodations.

Great Getaway for a Girls weekend
Very cute and nicely updated efficiency. The pictures don't do it justice. Stayed here with two friends for a long weekend. Nicely appointed kitchen. Easy walk to the beach across the street. Would stay here again without hesitation!

This is a delightful condo- colorful and cheerful. The complex is on the sound with lovely grounds and a large dock. The beach is across the street hardly even a block away. Bogue Shores is not an upscale place (a plus in my book!)- it is Comfortable, friendly and a great place to spend your day outdoors.

Cute and Clean!
We had a great time staying here. This was our first trip since the pandemic began, and we felt very comfortable. The room was clean and well-stocked with kitchen gear, so that we didn't have to eat out for every meal. The rest of the property was busy over Labor Day weekend, but everyone kept their distance. The best part about this place is the fact that the beach is literally just across the street! It was very convenient; we could pop in and out of our room for bathroom breaks or a cold drink without needing to abandon our spot on the beach. We would definitely stay here again for the comfort and convenience. FWIW, there were many Trump flags both on the beach and on the boats docked behind the property. We never felt unsafe, but this might be not be the most welcoming community for some people.

This is a very functional and nicely decorated space that is still basically a motel room with a kitchen. It is directly across the street (a fairly busy one) from public assess to the beach and behind it is access to fishing and lovely sunset views. It was not enough space for us and we were bothered by others sitting outside their rooms talking and playing music late into the night. Maybe we just didn’t wear ourselves out enough during the day!

We love Bogue shores because of the pool, the grilling area and boat dock in the back and the easy access to the beach. We have stayed at this site before but THIS condo was our absolute favorite. Very clean, beautifully decorated and such and efficient use of the small space. Absolutely perfect for our family of 3. We LOVED it.

The condo was clean and comfortable as well as updated. It includes nice amenities like linens shampoo and soap. As well as supplies with dish ware and cookware and full oven/stove to be able to cook if needed . The biggest plus is the location very short walk across to the beach and pool.

Easy beach access
Very comfortable and nicely decorated located steps away from the beach or sound. Very clean large pool with updated chairs, tables. Ensure you bring extra clothes/towels as there is no washer or drier on site, but facilities are minutes away in Morehead City. We had a real good experience and fun time during our stay.

Great place to stay at the beach
The unit was as described and access to the beach was closer than I expected. The linen, towels, etc. were nice and clean. The kitchen had everything that we needed to cook some of the fresh seafood that we purchased while there. Our party consisted of two adults and we found the space small but adequate for us. All the people that we interacted with or just passed by at the resort were very cordial. We had a great time and will seriously consider booking the unit again next year or sooner if we get the chance.

Price can be deceiving, good and bad
First, the bad. The online listing was well below hotels in the area nightly, but the booking fee and refundable deposit drive price to about the same or higher than hotel prices. Now, the good. The location is close to lots of local attractions like the splash park, the aquarium, and beach access. It's on the Sound side so you must cross the road. There is a pool that everyone seemed to enjoy. We didn't have time to check it out personally. It's a small space to share, and we had lots of outdoor plans to keep us out of the space. Nevertheless, it accommodates 4, with a room divider if desired. The ceiling fan over the bed keeps air flowing. In all, I'd come back. Instructions were clear, check in was easy, and the space was easy to walk through and be sure we didn't leave anything!

The property was clean and well organized. Small space, but great for 2-4 guest. Great location.
Check in was easy. Property's location was near beach access and dining. Unfortunately we were unaware of a musical festival being held there that weekend. Made parking a challenge, but we used an lyft and was able to enjoy a peaceful day at the beach. The condo was well organized for its size. It had everything we needed. I would definitely utilize this owners facilities again. Had a great time.

Cozy Beachy Property
This unit was decorated very nicely. Definitely a beach look. It's an old motel room that has been converted to a studio. The grounds are well kept. There are multiple grills available and a couple of love seat swings to enjoy the sound view from. The dock has been redone recently. It's all floating docks with multiple boat slips and they even have a boat ramp. The docks are well kept with hoses available and a fish cleaning station. The beach is steps away. You do cross the main island road, but it's just two lanes and easy to cross. It would be cramped for more than two, but we did enjoy our stay. This unit was clean, well maintained and the property manager was very helpful and pleasant to deal with when called.
