Great!!!!!

Posted Sep 3, 2014
Pros: Everything. The service was prompt and great. My drink at te bar was excellent........
Cons: The shower curtain smelled like an old dish rag. Could use some new shower curtain.
Location: Nice restaurants and close to everything.
We had a fabulous time staying in the Double Tree Hotel. Very comfortable and swimming pool was fun. The hacienda look and feel of this hotel made it all. Very pretty. Cookies were delightful. Would stay here again.

Great hotel, centrally located to restaurants.

Although we stayed during the labor day weekend and a UT Long Horns game and fans all over the hotel. We managed to have a great stay, mainly due to excellent staff.

Decent price hotel a little north of the capital

Posted Sep 1, 2014
Decent hotel for the price, just keep in mind no free overnight parking though you could probably still sneak in the garage without paying and no free breakfast. only issue was long walk from parking garage to room and door to balcony was almost impossible to open.. nice pool but was seats were always taken.

Convenience is the key!

Posted Aug 13, 2014
The hotel is convenient to the University of Texas campus, downtown Austin and twenty minutes to the Austin International Airport. I stayed in the Hotel for two days with a great experience. The people were hospitable, helpful and just a warm group of individuals that includes the staff. Overall it was a great experience staying in the hotel such as the Double Tree. Thank you!

Nice, different Double Tree

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Stayed here twice. Both times on the highest floor (6th) and had no complaints. Rooms are clean, spacious. Staff has been accommodating. The hotel has a different look to it which makes it unique.

Relatively close to downtown

Posted Aug 4, 2014
No scary people hanging around there like there is in the downtown hotels. Very nice view. Nice and well maintained room. Great food and drinks. I will definitely be back here. My hotel maid didn't clean the room as well as she should have, but that was the only problem.

Trouble with check in

Posted Jul 23, 2014
After arriving at the hotel, I went to front desk gave my name. They coulden't find me in the system. Went to another computer and nothing. He went to back office for a few minutes and several other guests checking in quickly, he came back and said for some reason Expedia did not put me in the hotel system. They had me down under my first name and suffix as my last name. Well after about a 15 minute wait, we get our room. Well after we get out of the pool, my door cards don't work. I called the front desk and they erased my door cards after they fixed my name in the system and forgot to let me know. Probably last time I use Expedia. Com. Well I guess to compensate, I got a warm cookie for my kids.
