It's a super 8 on the highway. Most of the appliances don't work, there were big ass bugs in the bathroom. It's what you expect.

The place is nothing fancy, but it's clean, close to UT Austin, reasonably priced, and has free parking. If you need a clean bed and bathroom close to the university at a reasonable price, you can't do much better than this hotel.

Staff were very friendly and it was in a good location but it was very dirty and a lot of things were broken. Also the bugs that were crawling on the walls at night and through my clothes were not great. It felt like I was camping in the woods with an outdated mattress.

If you’re headin to Franklin BBQ in the morning to get in line. This where you want to stay! I could smell the bbq cooking the night before from my room. Doesn’t look like much from the outside. But inside is quite nice. No complaints here.

Great location for accessing downtown, UT, and East Austin and is walkable to all those places. The noise from I-35 was so loud, my window faced the highway and did not block the noise at all. The outside of the hotel looks very bad but inside my room was clean and comfortable, so overall it was a pretty good value.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone! Left with bad bedbugs bites all over my body and backache due to the old mattress condition. Couple of their clean towels had pubic hairs in it, so disgusting. And the smell of the room was a mix of cigarettes and paint.

So... In some reviews you wonder whether the reviewer was being a little too critical. This isn't the case. We felt obligated to leave our luggage in the car. If you have absolutely no options, close your eyes and stay a night. Otherwise it might be better to bulldoze this hotel and start over. We didn't have a option of choosing 1/4 star ⭐.

Traffic noise wasn't nice and it was tatty, however, we were moved to a different room when the window wouldn't shut and our second room was much better. Breakfast was good but they kept running out of items.

I mean, this is not a "nice" hotel. It's a real throwback to motels typical in the 70s, doesn't look like it's been updated since then. The room was kinda smelly, bed not very comfortable and a few things (pool, ice-maker) did not work. However, location is excellent if you want to be near downtown, the capitol and 6th st nightlife. Staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was super basic (waffle-maker, cereal, yogurt and coffee) but free. Parking also free, which is rare in Austin hotels - most charge $30-40 per nights. Place is about half the price of hotels in the area so if you're looking for a place to explore Austin a weekend or something and don't plan on spending much time in your room, it's a GREAT option.

Great location
My overall stay here was peaceful. Property looks extremely dated outside but is in good condition and shape inside. Clean comfortable rooms. However; the front desk lady in the morning comes off a bit forceful and non understanding. But the front desk guy in the evening has a wey better attitude. I recommend this place but I recommend you check in at night if you don’t want to be handled rudely.

Had been staying there on and off for work they charged me 100 dollars on my last visit for “smoking” in the room. Mind you I had stayed there on 4 other occasions with out incident and can clearly be seen going to my vehicle to smoke several times throughout the evening in question. They stole my money

Way to go Super 8!
Very nice, clean, roomy, and comfortable. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Located near my appointment. Breakfast was good too: cereal, fruit, yogurt, and coffee.
