Lovely house in a quiet neighborhood
This is a lovely property in a quiet but conveniently located neighborhood. We were a group of 6 adults in town for a wedding; the house served our needs well.

Great house, great stay
We very much enjoyed our stay at this well-located and beautiful house. Very helpful to have the cupboard of spices, coffee, tea, etc. available to guests. The steam sauna and plunge pool were very nice!

Amazing!
Gorgeous property with all of the amenities. Very peaceful and feels secluded. Close to Barton Springs as well as stores/shopping. Host very responsive and very interested in making sure everything is perfect. Absolutely no complaints.

Great for group or family
We stayed NYE weekend for my sister’s wedding, and it was the perfect size for all of us! The driveway was shared, which I wished was made more clear beforehand since we had 3 cars, but the street was quiet enough to always find parking nearby or in front. The two bedrooms on the main floor was perfect for my parents and grandparents. The kitchen was filled with everything we needed, and communication was great! The only bummer during our stay was not being able to figure out how to turn the Wii on for the kids (they did get someone to reach out later but we were already at the wedding venue) and the parking. Hot tub warmed up quickly and everything was well explained in the manual. Overall was a comfortable and CLEAN stay!

Green Wonderland
This gorgeous property has lush green views from every window. With several outdoor spaces, it's so relaxing to enjoy morning coffee or evening sips as you view nature's beauty. Your every need is met in the well-supplied kitchen and the beds are sublime. Our family of 10 had a joyous stay!

Swanky to the last detail
This was by far the nicest home I have ever stayed in. The design of the whole house was so well executed, and everything about it was a joy. The private backyard facing a small wooded area is such a nice touch. I would change a single thing about this place or stay.

Our stay here was one of the best I've ever had at a rental property. The house was amazing - clean, spacious and well equipped, the location is great, and communication with the owner was clear, thoughtful, and efficient. Couldn't ask for much more. Would absolutely recommend.

6 of us stayed there to celebrate our 50th birthdays. House was clean, great location - Ubers came quickly. The pool/hot tub was dirty but the management resolved quickly so we were able to enjoy one day. Beds were reallly comfortable (though 2 had to sleep on the smaller beds on the throes floor but they said it was comfortable) Only tip would be to provide list of nearby restaurants or grocery stores. Would recommend!

Absolutely gorgeous home in ideal location
I stayed at John's place during a friends trip to Austin, and all of us loved staying here. The space is thoughtfully and tastefully designed and there are both great communal gathering areas and private spaces. The steam shower and giant spa pool really stood out as unique amenities. Highly recommend to other large groups and families!

What a great spot… close to Barton Springs and so many shops and restaurants, still very close to down town. We loved the steam shower and pool…. Real treats! We will be back!

This is a great property that comes as advertised and more! Great communication with the host and the house had everything we could think of needing. Plenty of room, quality furnishing and decor. The only issue was the bug/roach problem in the game room. Only saw bugs in that one area on the top floor so possibly and easy fix. Would definilty recommend once that is taken care of.

Janet, thank you for your feedback, we only wish you would have let us know during your visit you were seeing bugs. The house does not have a ongoing bug problem. We have it regularly treated for pests. Unfortunately it is a house like all others, where from time to time a bug can get in. There is not, nor has there been, a bug infestation type situation. In fact, this is the first and only review we have received like this. Had you let us know you saw a problem during your visit we would have immediately sent out the pest control company. Hearing this we have notified the pest control company and they will be out to make sure we resolve any problem immediately. We are glad you appreciated the rest of your experience and value your feedback.

Perfect for Weekend R&R
My friends and I had the most wonderful time staying at this property. We had a group of 9 and it fit us all comfortably. I was so impressed with the cleanliness, organization, and easiness of the process. It is an awesome location in regards to food and fun in Austin. Most things were within walking distance for us, and if not, just a short Uber ride away. We left feeling comfortable, relaxed, and had the greatest time. If i’m ever back in Austin, i’ll book this place again!

This home is stunning! It is full of large windows that look over trees, making you feel like you’re in a tree house. It is equipped with everything you would need with respect to appliances, kitchen supplies, pool towels, etc. The house has a full house speaker system that you can use through your phone. And the pool/hot tub was wonderful. Highly highly recommend!

Unique Modern Home
Beautiful home located in nice neighborhood. Communication with home owner was great and check in super easy. The backside of the house is very private and serene. The trees and natural beauty from the expansive windows were really nice. Great kitchen too!

We had a fantastic long weekend in House of Yes. I rarely add to reviews, but this property is one of the best rentals I’ve ever stayed in. All the other comments are right on. John and his team do a great job and the home is well-kept, spacious, beautiful and inviting. The attention to detail is impressive and makes a difference.

Location and House are superb! Walking distance to ACL as well as some fun shopping and restaurants. The house feels like a private treehouse, beautifully decorated and well-supplied with anything you'd need. Spacious, super clean and well-maintained, great outdoor spaces and very private. We loved this home and the location - as it is super convenient to all that is awesome in Austin. The owner is super responsive and a great host in general. The house is well stocked with condiments etc, so no need to buy mustard ;)

Beautiful property with lots of windows giving it a treehouse feel. Lots of space and kid friendly with the third floor ping pong table, fire pit, large spa, and plenty of sleeping space. We were a group of 10 friends who found there wasn’t enough seating in the various areas to accommodate our group all at once but we made it work by pulling chairs up to the table or out on the deck. Host was quick to respond and very helpful! Super location and within walking distance to many different Austin sites!

Glad you enjoyed your visit and found the house as special as we do. Good point around a large space for 10-12 to sit together. It has me wondering if in the future I could change out the deck furniture to provide an overflow dining area, or find a way to expand the dining table temporarily. Thank you for the feedback!

I wish I could give it 6 stars
The property was better than advertised. You can tell how much care John and his team put into the big things and the littles things. We didn't cook, but if we did, there was a giant pullout drawer of impeccably labeled spices. Want to watch a movie? There's a rec room upstairs. Care for a soak? Pick up the house iPhone and the hot tub will be ready in 45 minutes. All of these features would be awesome, but to be honest John and the team made the stay feel special. I was flying in from South America, and they accommodated an early check-in so I could take a nap. It was that kind of thing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Great Weekend Girls Trip!
This house was awesome! Location can't be beat and the whole house is so well designed and thought out. I stayed here with a group of friends for my bachelorette party and everything about the stay was perfect. Communication with the host was great. Perfect Group House - Updated, Clean, Beautiful
We visited Austin with a group of 11 girls for a bachelorette party and this house was perfect. The hot tub was just amazing. Everything in the house is updated and clean. You are a quick 10 minute uber ride from Rainey St and 6th St and 20 minutes from the airport. Would highly recommend this house to any groups visiting Austin.
