Totality!
We came here to see the 2024 eclipse and had the best time! The house and property are much nicer than in the photos. My family had lots of room and we were all very comfortable. Thank you Terri and Dennis!

Very nice well kept place.
Nice place was very pleased. Very roomy for a family of 5. There was games for kids which was great. Small bar within walking distance that was quiet and well kept. Would absolutely recommend

Awesome Place to stay!
Great place to stay for a weekend at the lake! Tons of room for family friends and huge backyard to play with the kids. Large driveway so if you are bringing a boat it wont be a problem to park it. They had everything you would need!

Easter weekend hiking
We had a blast staying at the Longbranch lodge! Plenty of space inside and out! The lodge was clean and well equipped with everything we needed to enjoy the weekend with the family. We had some concerns about the proximity of the saloon to the house but we never heard a sound, even when we were outside next to the fire pit! Our dog enjoyed the large yard and we enjoyed the hiking trails that were nearby! We are planning to stay at the Longbranch next time we are in southern IL.!!!

Just What We Needed.
Great rural location in the wooded hills of Southern Illinois. Perfect location for day excursions to sites in the Shawnee. Plenty of room for friends or a family. Will definitely stay here again.

Very clean site, very roomy. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms a plus. We were even able to park a boat in the garage. Kitchen had lots of amenities. Like newer refrigerator, gas stove, and dishwasher. Washer and dryer worked well too. We plan on using again.

We found the location and site features perfect. Very quiet, clean, and comfortable. The home had plenty of room and the property offered acreage to roam and enjoy the autumn beauty of Southern Illinois. The Owners were wonderful. We would definitely stay again when visiting the area.

I and four friends gathered in a central location to celebrate our friend’s 40th birthday. The owners were very accommodating, and their lodge was more than equipped to handle our group. We’re talking about making an annual meetup out of it we were so happy with the property.

The people were so nice, the house has plenty of room to relax and not be under each other feet. The scenery is amazing for a cup of coffee on the back porch. I will definitely be looking into starting again in the future.

Such a wonderful home with wonder owners
My husband and I had a quick overnight get away. This place was perfect! The owners are so welcoming and inviting. The saloon next door was great as well we got to enjoy an awesome live band while there.

Quiet getaway behind a lively Saloon
This place met all expectations. The saloon on site was a wonderful treat that I'd have indulged in had I not already been trying to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Would definitely like to come back. Small note, cell reception is not the greatest here so unless you use wifi don't expect very much signal. This wasn't a problem for me. Also, air fryer was amazing.

Wow!
Took my 4 kids plus their significant others to visit Southern Illinois. Our accommodations we amazing with enough room to spread out or come together. Everything was clean and we didn't find anything that we needed but didn't have. Terri and Dennis were fantastic, responsive hosts and made us feel so welcome in both the house and saloon which was terrific as well. We will definitely be staying here any time we come to Southern Illinois.

I took the family and friends to lake Kincaid and I have stayed at meny places around the lake this is by far the best I’ve stayed at. The owners were great. the place was spacious and clean. We had a rainy day that weekend and when to the bar next door it is a really nice place also. I would definitely recommend this longbranch lodge

Southern hospitality in its truest form. The owners showed kindness, warmth, and a welcomed us as if we were family. More than enough space for our family of 6 and a pretty cool tavern within walking distance.
