"The hotel is in a great location near all the tourist attractions. We could see the Santa Justa Lift and Castelo de Sao Jorge right from our room. Very close to Rossio train stop. Many restaurants close by. Room was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. "

"A very beautiful and grand hotel, but still comfortable and welcoming with the emphasis firmly on customer satisfaction. Every day an unexpected little touch in our room - pasteis de nata on arrival, a little box of chocolates, four huge and exquisite strawberries complete with napkins and little forks... Live piano music every evening in the ground floor bar, the most extensive and fresh breakfast buffet imaginable, a free smart phone in our room for our use even on our daily excursions, more than enough closet space, and an exceptionally clean and well equipped bathroom. What more could you ask for? The hotel is conveniently right outside a metro station and next to the railway station, although they are very unobtrusive, and within a 5-10 minute walk of the waterfront at Praça do Comercio and the Alfama old district. Would recommend in a heartbeat."
